The Divination Toolkit-Tarot Series: The Magician

Divination Toolkit Tarot Series (1)

I The Magician

A trickster, a sorcerer, or channel? A lone masculine figure stands behind a table.  The winding everlasting figure 8 above his head signaling infinity God, the divine, and spirit. A snake encircles his waist creating a loop of sacred divine knowledge. His right hand is raised towards the heavens drawing down universal energy from one plane to physical manifestation within our world as shown by his lowered left hand towards the Earth. Fulfilling the axiom of as above so below. On the table before him, we see symbols representing the four elements, earth, wind, fire and water. Physical representations displaying the transformation of energy from spirit to matter. The shift that comes from transmutation.

The Magician represents will and the power of the mind. Our will directs our mind to create upon this plane and the next. The will acts as a drive to bring us to spaces of growth, expansion, and power. It is the fire within us that calls us to want more, to do more, to be more. It looks at the world around us and see what is but more importantly know what can be. Our mind, while powerful, without a will to direct it may never achieve any of its creations. All the ingenuity in the world does little when not brought from the cognitive realm to the physical. It is difference between the theoretical and the practical. Thus, how we direct our will determines the effect of what we bring forth. The question then becomes what are you creating? Are you bringing about helpful or harmful results? Creation or destruction?

The Magician is the communion of man and God. He is the representation of those who have undergone the journey of initiation into the secret mysteries and mastered them through practice, study, and perseverance. The Magician is not a card of ease. We find that it is only through hard work and determination was the Magician able to master his craft. Once complete though, the world waited at his fingertips but only if he is willing to center his thoughts on his desire and see it through to the end. The Magician is singular attention. It is our ability to narrow our focus on what we desire the most and pursue it until that desire is manifested.

Reversed: We find that we did not complete our plan. We are for some reason easily distracted and unable to focus on obtaining our goals. One could look at the card and see what image stands out to them the most. This lends some insight into why they unable will into being what they desire. If they notice the fire they are lacking will, perhaps this is not what they are truly passionate about and wanting to manifest. If the earth symbol is what draws their attention then they are lacking either material structure or resources. The air element would indicate that the plan has not been well thought out. One should return to the drawing board, do some additional research, and create a better strategy or seek out assistance. Lastly, if the water symbol catches their attention then there is an emotional blockage that needs to be removed. Depending on the other cards in the spread, the Magician reversed could also symbolize having made bad decisions. If so, then additional cards can be pulled to gain clarity as to how to correct the path. The Magician may also represent yourself or someone else who is directing their will drive situations in your life either to feed their own ego or use deception to get what they want. They use their tricks and sleight of hand to makes things appear to be what they are not. It is the shadow side of Mars which will do whatever it must to get what it desires. The cards surrounding this card will lend clarity as to what this card represents in its’ position.

Numerology and Astrology

The number 1 is the number of the Magician. After one moves from the feminine space of creation they are brought to the physical plane. The number one represents independence, leadership, and the ability to have a singular focus. The energy of the number 1 aligns with new beginnings and that push that is necessary to birth new things into being. It takes more energy than we may realize to transmute energy into matter. The number one is that powerful force. When on the light side, it is driven, creative, determined, a spirited wise leader. On the shadow side, it is the ego run wild, the narcissist, the autocrat, or the obsession driven perfectionist who will achieve their desire no matter what the cost. Ruled by the planets Mars and Mercury it is no wonder that the Magician is concerned with power, will, and the mind. Mars represents the masculine energy of movement, ego and manifestation through action. Whereas Mercury is the planet of communication, technology, knowledge, and versatility. Combined these two create the perfect alchemy to transmute energy into matter through drive, ingenuity, and strategy.

If one has a Life Lesson, Soul Urge, Path of Destiny, Outer Personality, Birth Month or Birthday number of 1 – The Magician is your corresponding Tarot card.

The Magician is the next step of the fools’ journey. His childlike wonder has brought him to the first step of his journey in marrying his knowledge of the divine with his will to create. He has learned the Universal Law of Correspondence that there is an energetic contract that exists between the planes of existence. When we understand these contracts, we are able though their agreements to bring forth what we desire.

Reflections: The Door to Growth and Expansion

Greeting beloveds,

Can you believe it’s already summer? 2017 seems to be moving so quickly as we enter into the time of expansion and nurturing. June was a bit of a whirlwind month but slowly that energy of clearing has begun to settle down. This allows for us to peek our heads out of the rubble and see what we have left to work with. This is quite appropriate at this time since before you move into harvest season, there has to be a chance to actually allow for growth.

In embrace of this summer energy, here at The Bliss Institute we will be diving deeply into another form of divination this season with a new Tarot series. Each day will feature a different tarot card with its meanings, astrology, numerology, and reversal information. We will also be expanding to include guest posts in this series in order to offer a more inclusive perspective on this broad subject of tarot.

We will also complete the first book review of The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden through exploring the connections between masculinity, the shadow, the Goddess, and blood mysteries. Then we will break down the very popular Law of Attraction in our 12 Universal Laws series. Lastly we will, as always, include posts on nutrition, relationships, and the home related building connections to manifest abundance.

What I am most excited to introduce here will be the beginning of our Life and Death Goddess work. This is a huge endeavor that has been a calling of mine for about the past 4 years. When I first starting working with the Dark Goddess, I had such a limited view of what that meant. I didn’t correlate at that time the relationship between the void and the capacity to create anything. This is what I want to share with you all is the magic of the cycle of death and rebirth. How we all move through this shadow journey and can the space provided during these times to tear down all that does not serve us in whatever way suits you best. For some it is fierce, intense, extreme and for others it may be gently persistent like water upon stone. July will introduce us to our first two Goddesses of Life and Death:

This is a very exciting time and I cannot wait to engage in this growth with you all.

The Divination Toolkit: The Tarot Series- The Fool

Divination Toolkit Tarot Series (1)The Fool

We will start here because honestly, this could be the fools journey that I am embarking on with this very ambitious summer project. The fool is included in some readers philosophy but not all. There is a long history of tarot with many different viewpoints that developed over time as the traditions split into different fractions.

According to one path, as the unnumbered card of the tarot deck, the Fool cards meaning depends on where it falls in the reading. Following this view, If the Fool shows up towards the beginning of the reading then it represents that one is facing a choice that requires a well thought out decision. Upright, the person is not being mindful of all the results that could come from their decision. They are being foolish and possibly taking an unwise route. When reversed, this card indicates that one is not making any progress and is not making any choices although they need to. The fool can show up towards the end of the reading as well. When this happens, it indicates that that person has completed a journey and has learned from what they have experienced. This fool is one who has a childlike curiosity which is perceived as being naïve and simpleminded. The world is looking at you now as society has trained us to view children. As helpless, tabla rosas who are waiting for us to imprint upon them who they are. Yet these are souls who are independent, have distinct personalities, and desires. Many have lived several lifetimes through which they have gathered a wisdom that is often lost as they are socialized to perform within their current social structure. Think of when a child speaks with a wisdom and knowledge beyond their years. This is the fool that comes up at the end of a reading. Reversed, the fool at the end of a spread suggests that one is not using their knowledge wisely. They have come far in the world but have not reached the end of the path yet. There is still more for you to experience before you will be ready to move past this lesson.

Another perspective sees the first card of the exoteric and esoteric tarot deck as the Fool. In this role, the Fool similarly represents new beginnings and new paths to be taken. Here there is a bit more emphasis on the obtainment of material possessions and their ability to influence one’s decision making abilities.  When The Fool shows up in this format, one is advised to ensure that they are not being driven solely by what they are materially interested in. This is a time to focus on spiritual wealth to guide one on their journey.

Numerology and Astrology:

The Fool may be counted as zero. Starting with a 0 is reminiscent of the void which is the space in which all life comes forth. It is without form or shape meaning that anything can happen and if the right conditions are available, what can happen will.  The possibilities are endless. The Fool again appears as Key 0 at the end of the 21 cards of the major arcana as the 22 card. The number 22 represents the completion of the circular journey. A beginning without end. When 22 is reduced to 4, the Fool also carries Earth energy of manifestation and journey’s through the physical realm. The 4 energy suggests that one recognize the role of authority, masculine energy, home, and their position as a provider. The Fool is also associated with Uranus and Pluto.

Regardless of where The Fool falls in your reading, when the Fool shows up it is a sign that there is change coming where one will be in a space where they should approach the situation with an open child-like wonder.  Every moment provides us with a chance for growth. Be mindful of the choices you make and the path you take.

Divination Toolkit Tarot Series (1)

Greetings beloveds,

I hope you all are having wonderful summer or winter solstices. Here in Texas the sun is shining, the skies are blue, and the temperatures are turned up full blast. Here at the Bliss Institute we are starting a new divination series on tarot. I have often referenced tarot cards, readings I’ve done for the seasons, and personal readings I’ve done for myself but it’s time for us to delve a bit deeper into the practice and meaning of the tarot.

This summer we will be covering a different tarot card everyday here at The Bliss Institute. This is a huge endeavor where we will be featuring one of my favorite divination Goddesses, The Dreaming Priestess. This Dakota Witch, will be covering different aspects of the tarot such as portions of it’s history, reading styles, and deck interpretations. Definitely check out her site to read more about her and the great work that she does here.

I hope you check in every day as we journey through the Tarot starting Wednesday. This will be an amazing trip that I cannot wait to share with you all.

Have a magical day,

-Rose

New Moon in Cancer 2017: Active Emotional Empowerment -Taking Your Life Back

New Moon Readings (1)

Greetings beloveds,

We have changed seasons moving from the light of spring to the waters of summer. As the season start with the cardinal signs, we moved astrologically into the sign of Cancer on the summer solstice. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year representing how we at this time are able to expend our energy outwards in order to nurture our dreams and desires. To read more about summer, the summer solstice and its connection to the element of water click here.

Let’s talk about the astrological sign Cancer. When I think of Cancers, I automatically sigh thinking of all the feelings. Cancers are one of the most nurturing signs in the zodiac. As the first water sign of the western astrological season, Cancer’s hold all the birthing energy. They are the emotional laborers of the water signs. While Scorpio’s assist us with navigating the subconscious and Pisces focus on the infinite nature of our heart’s, Cancer’s bring our emotions into the world. Here’s where you can find the scoop on Cancer’s along with the other water and air signs.

CancerJune 20-July 22

This new moon in Cancer, we will find ourselves building community and support with those around us. Individual people, groups, systems, and programs that are in alignment with what we desire are what we will gravitate towards. Those blocks and conflict that we have been enduring for the past season will either completely disappear or slowly begin to move out of your experience. For some their focus will shift where you just will not react or interact with folks who before would pull your chain or mess with your mood. For some of you, those situations will be transferred to different departments or you will change locations. Everything will shift. Don’t fight it. Don’t rush it. Just let it happen.

Junes new moon is setting the stage for a summer of forward movement. Due to this shift, things may start moving really quickly. Projects are getting approved and funded. Business ventures are turning the corner towards being fully in the black with residual income for your personal interests, needs and passion projects. Creative energy is flowing with paintings, drawings, sculpting, word smithing, products, ideas, theories, everything. Take a moment at this time to ride that wave but also to breathe. Metaphysically, we generally do not state that water and air are compatible. Air likes to be lite and free while water can be dense and deep. Yet, water and air interact all the time as do all the other elements. Air is composed of mostly nitrogen with oxygen and traces of water vapor and other components. Water is composed of 2 hydrogen atoms with 1 oxygen atom. These two elements, physically and metaphorically are similar in composition. Water and air act as transportation vessels for each other. Each allowing the other to move from one phase, space, or form to another. Sometimes this can happen forcefully such as during hurricanes or tornadoes but generally it is a calmer activity. Utilize what you need from the interaction of water and air. Regardless of whether it is a gentle or intense interaction, the results will be powerful.

This new moon allow yourself to be powerful. To take that combined energy of swift movement that air and water carry and manifest exactly what you want. Be clear in your communication of your feelings in whatever medium you prefer. Improving your emotional intelligence will be one of the largest takeaways from this new moon in Cancer. Once you are clear on how you feel, what you think, and what you would like to do about it – ACT on it. Particularly when it comes to romantic relationships, right now is not the time to focus on having long discussions which result in no active changes in behaviors. As the saying goes, actions speak louder than words. Always make sure that what you feel, what you think, what you speak and what you do line up. It is the best way to build trust within your relationships. Integrity, comes from keeping those lines open and communicating frequently.

Water cleanses, and if you’ve found yourself having a hard time with negative thoughts, complaints, fears, and trepidation close your eyes and visualize them riding away on the currents of Cancer’s comforting energy. Now, if there’s some external folks who are the one’s causing these issues you are experiencing, you can also visualize them being carried away by these currents. Whatever it is, let the water cleanse your thoughts. Let the water clear your energy and release your burdens.

With love,

Rose

Summer Solstice 2017 Love Reading:

Summer Solstice LoveGreetings beloveds,

It’s the time for the season of love! Oh yes, it is going to be a summer where love comes to us in the form of timeless sustainability. This season we will find ourselves remembering times when we experienced the purity of love. Our thoughts influence our attitude and perspective on life. When we bring our thoughts to moments of love we are tuning ourselves into the energy that will call love into our current experiences. As our memories are so deeply connected to our physical selves this will also cause for our bodies to experience the positive physical effects of love. Unlike during Venus retrograde this is not a time to dig deeply into all your past romantic relationships to determine what were the lessons you received from those connections. This summer, you should literally find the most loving memories you have whether romantic, platonic, or otherwise. Let the good feelings flow through you from those memories. Let them make you shine so that your love moves outward creating new memories that you will be able to return to later. This summer you will prove to yourself and others that when you give love, you receive love in return.

July: While those positive vibes from your loving memories may make you feel all gooey inside this doesn’t mean that there will be no issues in any of your relationships. The point is to begin to learn how to focus on love. Focus on the fact that even in the worst times love always endures. Even if you only experience moments of love throughout your life it never fully disappears. There are sparks of it everywhere. In the kindness of strangers, in the beauty of the land around you, in the fantasies that create in our minds. Love is the basis of all that exists we cannot escape from it even if we tried. This is difficult to hear when things are not going well. When others are expressing so much distrust and hate towards other love is hard to find in the darkness. Here’s the secret though, love is the darkness. Love is the womb that has enclosed you while you experience this pain or crisis. When that moment is over you will look around at all the love that has been present all along.

August: Our hearts yearn to connect with other hearts. Heart connections are energetic meaning we may have just physical, emotional, mental or spiritual relationships with others or any combination of the above. When we find the people with which we have soul ties love floods through our beings and lives. We wonder at how this love exists. There seems to be no explanation other than fate, destiny, luck, or divine intervention to explain what has found you on this path in your life. Last month you focused on the love that exists indefinitely for all. This month that love is manifested in the form of the heart connections that we make in this world past, present, and future.

September: Well with manifestation comes new issues to be worked through and addressed. At all times with all forms of connections, especially heart connections, we will have to develop boundaries of treatment. We’ve been using our memories of love to shift our energy towards love. Remember to remain mindful that just because we develop or experience love towards anything does not mean that we will not experience other emotions such as fear or anger. The point of this summer was to reconnect to the source of love through prior experiences not to ignore the reality of love that is way more complicated than chocolates, flowers, and all night video game sessions (not where you thought that was going huh). You will find yourself tested at this time because you have a memory of love that can make the reality of love difficult to bring into conversation. You must see things for what they really are though. Sit down with all things that may be causing you heartache, anger, or confusion. Talk it out or find a professional to assist you with your concerns. Your strength is not defined by the amount of pain you can endure but by the amount of love you are willing to show yourself. From there you can spread that love to the world around you.

That’s our love reading for summer 2017! Let the moments of love you have connected throughout this summer reinforce your pool of unending love within you. Return to it when you need reassurance during these times of working out kinks in your soul ties. Remember that some connections are meant to become memories and not go forth into the future. Use your discernment to determine what may be needed at this time as you prepare with the upcoming autumn equinox to journey into the underworld.

With love,

Rose

Summer Solstice 2017 General Energy Reading: Increasing the Flow of Abundance through Community and Balance.

Summer Solstice

Greeting beloveds,

Summer is finally here! We are being drawn outside during the cool mornings to take in the warmth of the early rising sun. Then as the sun reaches its zenith during the middle of the day we find ourselves moving towards cooler spaces which provide sanctuary from the heat of midday. As the sun begins its decline, we may return outside to enjoy the heat of the evening that calls us to gather with friends in nature or other social settings

Summer Solstice: Diving into the Watery Depths

As the longest day of the year, during the summer solstice we are called to recognize the balance of our world through the masculine framework. We pay tribute to and recognize the Sun as the heat which lovingly calls new life from the depths of the feminine earth forth. That which encourages exploration and movement to create. Day long celebrations are observed in many traditions with bountiful feasts rich in seasonal summer foods. The fires of this time go well into the night with large bonfires complete with yummy treats. The story of Osiris in the Egyptian mythology is a beautiful way to observe the summer solstice as it includes the continued role of the feminine in creating a full cycle of both life and death. The masculine is never enough on it’s own to create thus it must have the feminine to assist in achieving balance and organization. Set and Osiris represent just some of the different aspects of the masculine. The drive to destroy/create, life/death, power and force. As much as there are dark and light in all this exists for the masculine as well. The myth of Osiris relays the need to balance out the light and dark, through recognizing that the light will always return.

Summer is the time of nurturing what we have planted. This summer will be a breath of fresh air compared to the conflicts of spring. Ruled by the element of water, Summer calls for us to take that energy needed to break from the shell of the seeds that we have planted and funnel that action into emotional clarity. It’s not about what you do but about how what you do makes you feel. We have all been planning, creating, and building foundations because as we move forward during this time it is becoming harder to ignore our truth. We are being pulled into alignment with our purpose. Blockages are being removed and you are starting to see the results of all the emotional clearing and hard work you’ve done over the spring. Sometimes, what is holding us back from moving forward are not physical obstacles like money, housing, or transportation. Spring taught us that emotional attachments interfere with our desires to the same extent as material, mental, or spiritual elements. Clearing those out made way to redirect our energy towards what is coming this summer. You will find yourself in serendipitous moments over and over.

In fact, it might happen so fast you are wondering what in the world happened. Simply put, you shifted from moving against the current to going downstream. Now with any stream this water is growing in momentum because there is a huge body of abundance coming your way. The closer you get to the fulfillment of your desires the faster things will start moving. Keep your eye on the prize. Your social circle will play a role in this movement.

We journey deep within the Earth during the winter, use the energy of fire to move back up to the surface bursting with new life in the spring and now the waters of summer nourish us as we grow and expand.

July (June 20-July 20)

Isn’t it lovely to have dealt with all of the conflict between yourself and your loved ones past or present? If you missed out on the sarcasm in that statement let me make it clear, this spring was rough for quite a few of us because of needing to clear out hostilities. While we are shifting into another area of focus for this season we are still moving through addressing our relationships. The focus though shifts from conflicts to nurturing. How do our relationships provide us with security in life? Do they give you emotional support so that you are able to freely express your feelings with others? Perhaps you love the engaging conversations that bring about new ideas and fresh perspectives on life’s many quandaries. The start of this month sees us connecting with others and ourselves in ways which enhance our ability to express love towards all beings. The new moon in Cancer enhances this drive, encouraging us to come together with the communities that have supported us through the trials of the underworld. Developing and nurturing our connections with ourselves and each other also set the foundation for economic advancement. Now is the time when our partnerships will bring advancements in areas related to the material realm. This could come across in a relationship that assists you in starting or taking your business to the next level though providing support for your ideas, networking, or capitol. You may find yourself building a network in your current career which leads to a more sustainable future for yourself. There may even be a romantic connection that brings about the building of wealth. The full moon in Capricorn brings into focus the manifestation aspect of wealth. Capricorns are builders focused on bringing all of the experiences and dreams developed by the previous signs into reality. They also focus on wealth building. You will seldom find a Capricorn that does not have a hefty rainy-day fund. Combine this energy with that of the new moon

August (July 21-August 21)

This month we shift from emotional depths to swifter realms of creation through thought. You may have been asking yourself why has this been happening to me? Why did I go through all the things I did over the past season and July? Although I usually recommend connecting deeply to your feelings right now I am encouraging intellectualizing your experience just a bit. That’s right you can officially get all up in your head about things. Now, don’t fall into that cyclical thought treadmill. Think of it as a time to approach your experiences in a structured analytical way. Think the scientific method. The beginning of this month is influenced by the new moon in Virgo, which as we know is the great analyzer. They are master assessors who can divine what has occurred in a situation, decide what worked, what didn’t and then create an improvement plan. Perhaps you may want to use some tools such as a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis to access how things went, what you got out of it, what can you take from this and what are your next steps. This energy carries a feminine influence making this a time for swift but compassionate assessments. Be gentle with yourself. This may also be very literal in that you may have a woman or someone who holds feminine energy stepping forth in your life to assist you in this process. This could even be a new romantic relationship if you have released old ties and are finding yourself in space to have another connection come through. You’ll be wanting to take the results of your analysis and start moving towards thoughts of how you can use this in the future in a very creative way. The energy of how you your thoughts are revolving about these topics will lighten up and not feel so urgent or intense. The full moon in Aquarius will pull you into this place where you are aware of everything and yet emotionally a bit detached from the circumstances. Aquarius’s are great at taking in everything without letting how they personally feel about the topic influence how they address what they have witnessed. Their one goal is to help everyone connect with their higher self in the way that is very instinctual. This may be a welcome reprieve for you if you find yourself getting very attached to your thoughts and feelings. Let this energy guide you into a space of balance and objectivity.

September (August 22-September 22)

September is going to be all about temperance. Tempering our state of being so that we find ourselves in a balanced state. In this case we are balancing our relationship between our emotions, thoughts, and social conditioning. In July we were encouraged to build and connect with communities that provide us with support along with stability. From there we experienced growth in our economic potential. We then shifted from our heart connections to how these connections influence our perceptions towards money. So we began to analyze our finances to figure out what we have been doing that increases and decreases our wealth. After we made our plan we put it into action. This may have resulted in our making some drastic changes towards our spending habits, number of income streams, forms of income, and perceptions towards money. September is running in like, hold on now! Don’t even tip those scales, let’s get into balance. And who better to help you with that but a new moon in Libra. The energy during this time will allow us to check out all the possibilities and weigh which of the results of our analysis fits us best and will allow us to still be able to enjoy ourselves, improve our financial situation, and shift our way our perception towards abundance. Libra’s generally find themselves financially equipped to meet their needs and desires. If they are not more than likely they will energetically draw in what they desire or fake it til they make it. This September you get to pull a Libra and bask in the fun of drawing in abundance through charm, charisma, and refusal to accept anything but the best (or as close to it as they can get). If you’re thinking that means hard work, you got it all wrong. For Libra’s they prefer to put their energy into what they are passionate about. When that is the case it is never work for them but fulfillment of an inner value or purpose. This is the epitome of balance. All of this ties in perfectly with the final full moon of the summer in Pisces where our dreams take center focus. Balance requires that your dreams be in alignment with reality. When that occurs you are able to shift back and forth without harm between the various life responsibilities you have.

As we move into autumn, having this light break during the late summer season. This will allow ease for us as we move towards a time of manifestation, abundance, and harvest. This summer, join us here at the Bliss Institute as we move into providing products for your light and shadow work, start our tarot series, and provide abundance centered content. Happy Summer Solstice everyone!

The Death of the Phoenix

Pheonix

Greetings beloveds,

I speak of death and the underworld often because so many are experiencing journey’s through the underworld that are causing their lives to go up in flames. Death cannot be escaped as it is the doorway to new life. It’s painful. It’s scary. It’s dark and brutal. It makes you wish you had been able to stay in your cocoon where it was safe and you knew what to expect. But you weren’t really thriving in that space. Or maybe you were. Maybe you felt that this was the best life that you could imagine where you had everything you desired. So why is this happening to you? When we stop dreaming big life shakes us up because the Divine KNOWS you can be more. That there are infinite possibilities awaiting you on the other side of content, ok, and “I’m doing fine”.

So it sets you aflame. You have a new burning desire for change. You start to examine where you are and wonder how you can expand. Your current phase is ending. Some will mourn now. Feeling deeply the pain of what was and what will be. Others will feel joyful, excited or expectant. Still some will attempt to numb themselves to the reality that what was their life is no more. Take the route that works for you because there is no wrong choice. From there, you will rise eventually. It may take days, months, year, or lifetimes but you will rise.

The Phoenix must burn to be reborn.

Temperance: The Quest for Balance

Dark and Light

Greetings beloveds,

I continue to feel the draw towards balance and grace. It keeps pulling me towards this reality of complex human experiences and beings. That which is more than light and dark, good and bad, or right and wrong. Its so often the case that the lines seem to be firmly and clearly drawn. Yet in practice there is so much more than just being one way or the other. There is the ever present dilemma of what is right for one may be completely wrong for another. The balance being achieved by finding the best fit. A result that includes as many of the elements one desires as one can find.

Yet what of when one persons desires interrupts another persons interests? The basis of this paradigm is lack consciousness, a system upheld by the economic institution of capitalism which can only function in a state where one can control access to resources. This type of system is inherently oppressive and yet it has been the one system that has survived. Yet, in all ways we are all being called to move beyond these systems because they place us out of balance with the universe.

Right now I am working on finding the best fit. Accessing the things in my life that do not align with my desires and then moving towards those that do. So far this has included releasing some resistance I have had towards needing to cleanse and release old eating habits. Mainly in the form of eating out so much and fried foods. There is much work to be done and I do not function as well when I consume these foods. At this time I need to be light, quick witted, and in the best condition possible. This means I must prioritize my health above all else. That is not always the easiest thing for me to do as I so enjoy being lazy in that area. Yet, the season of self-love is upon me and what a glorious season it will turn out to be.

The more that I learn about the underworld, the more it seems that there are no clear lines. There is only what is the best fit at that time. Through that perspective may we find balance in a world bent on forcing us into a binary existence.
