New Moon in Cancer : Harnessing Opposition for healing

Sun, Moon, Mercury in Cancer Jupiter, Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn: Cardinal Opposition from our hearts to yours.

                Movement is important for Cancer. We are usually able to travel, spend lots of time outdoors, and visit our friends/family to help move this energy. This year, we are practically stationary. We are much more mindful of our movements, our connections, and how we care for ourselves and each other. The sun, moon, and mercury in Cancer opens our heart and highlights that which makes our hearts sing. You’ll find that pursuing your purpose or career that emotional intelligence is vital to your success. From there we find great fulfillment in using these same skills to appreciate our home family. Who would have thought that having our heart and purpose in alignment would bring us such peace. Yet, we aren’t at peace. We feel a bit conflicted. These are oppositional signs sitting across from each other on the astrological wheel. One focused on nurturing the other on achievement, both energies knowing that we must stay true to ourselves. How do we balance this? By making sure that our purpose fulfills us emotionally and that our homes support our purpose.

See if these are characteristics that you have or that you would like to have. Then offer appreciation for these folks and experiences. Finally, play with how you would like to embody these characteristics using your imagination.

Venus and True Node in Gemini

                Take a class on effective communication styles such as nonviolent communication, conflict resolution, and love languages. It’s the work we are meant to do at this time.

Mars and Chiron in Aries

                We are ready to get up and go. We want to follow through with our plans. Our entire team and crew are hyping each other up.

Uranus in Taurus

                This new moon, you may find your partnerships and contracts will be experiencing radical shifts as you move to align your relationships with your values. Review your contracts, make sure you are being thorough and not relying upon trust alone. Read it for yourself. This will seem a bit tedious and frustrating because of Mars in Aries energy, but it will be worth it in the end to make sure that you are aware of the connections that you are agreeing to.

Focus on community and not competition. Do shadow work on feelings of envy and what you covet in and from others.

Neptune in Pisces

                We are entering a space where the veil is being lifted on the importance of our health, our homes, and who keeps our societies running. There is an idea of who runs things and who actually makes our society function. These are not the same folks. Those who are in service- the service industry, the health industry, the skilled workers, the caregivers, the providers, the educators- these folks are coming to center stage. Empathy and compassion are the new desired professional skills. Those who can connect with their emotions and the emotions of others, creating a reflection through which they can see themselves allowing BOTH the server and receiver to have their needs met, are changing the way our world works.

                Check your dreams, express yourself creatively, and keep the faith. Oh and turn your spiritual practice into some spiritual habits. BE CONSISTENT!!!
