Hi, my loves,
Happy new moon in Sagittarius! How are you feeling? Excited? Lit up? Anxious and Adventurous? Sagittarius season is our light in the darkness as we head towards the winter solstice, the new year, and Capricorn season. The new moon in Sagittarius reminds us that tending our inner fire provides us with the ability to create lasting change in the world around us. Even when things feel heavy, there is always a possibility for growth and transformation.

Our conscious self, the ego, our emotional state, our values, and our sense of justice are all housed in Sagittarius. We are at the very end of this Sagittarius energy. What have you discovered about the ideals that guide you? It is the ideal that the Sagittarius archer is aiming towards. It is this ideal that frames what we are working towards.
The full moon in Gemini gave you the push to explore new information, ideas, and to become curious about what has caught your attention. From there, we then shift over to its opposition, which asks us: what can we put together from this? In Sagittarius, we are allowed to see how our ideas are shaped by our values, which can crystallize into an ideal that guides our actions and goals.
This is further supported by Mars in Capricorn, which gives us a boost of energy to take action towards our goals. Mars in Capricorn is the desire and passion to climb the mountain of achievement. When we utilize Sagittarius energy well, we can be better assured that the mountain, goal, or vision we are pursuing is the correct one for us at that time. It is only when we focus more on others’ opinions, ideals, or values than our own that we may look back at what we have done and feel that we wasted our time or energy.
Thus, it is vital that we take our time with this energy. That we are centered and grounded within ourselves as we make these commitments. The new moon in Gemini was a time to connect to your own natal chart to look at any planets, the house, and aspects to Gemini energy. This was also an important time to look at where Mercury, Gemini’s ruler, is placed in your natal chart to determine the impact of transits to it. Now this is the perfect time to explore any planets, the house, and aspects to Sagittarius energy, as well as the transit’s impact on its ruler, Jupiter.

Let’s take a look at Mercury in Sagittarius, squaring the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo. This is the aspect created by quick-moving Mercury during this new moon. As we have discussed, the North Node in Pisces has called us collectively to shift from a place of Virgo South Node, perfectionism framed as purification or precision, which keeps us stuck in a loop of anxiety, judgment, and shame, into conscious awareness of our connection to the whole, Source, and love.
Last month, Mercury started its retrograde in Sagittarius, creating a curiosity to examine what we are working towards. It then shifted back into the depths of Scorpio, reconnecting us to our deepest emotions, lessons, and experiences. This would recenter our values to align with our healing or to bring us back to another round of lessons to be learned. Then Mercury moved forward again, back to Sagittarius, bringing that Scorpio wisdom with it.
- Where did you find yourself at the end of Mercury retrograde?
- What Mercury or Scorpio archetype fits you best?
- The hermit, magician, traveler, scholar, or fool?
- Or the snake, scorpion, eagle, or phoenix?
Perhaps you are a mix of several archetypes. Either way, the square between Mercury and the North Node/South Node creates a tension that needs to be resolved. We are pulled towards connecting to a higher consciousness, evolving away from the materially dense judgment of perfectionism, and putting our Mercury wisdom into practice. All of this is occurring in mutable signs. Pisces/water, Sagittarius/fire, and Virgo/earth- thus, why the full moon in Gemini provided us with important information to round out the mutable energy.
Overall, we are in transition. On a path towards completing a round of the western zodiac to enter into our wise elder, community, and collective-based signs before we are reborn in the spring. As the energy of Pan, Dionysus,
Do you know where you are going and why?
Now is the time to get clear on this before we set our plans in place during Capricorn season.

There is more communication occurring between Pisces and Sagittarius energy. We have explored at length the amplification of Saturn and Neptune’s energy in Pisces. Saturn in Pisces asks us to create discipline, routine, and devotion towards our spiritual practices as a sign of our commitment to ourselves as a part of the whole. Neptune is clearing the lens of our consciousness so that we can see beyond the delusion of the maya or physical world, before it returns to the active cardinal fire energy of Aries.
- What has the Saturn and Neptune retrograde revealed to you?
- How is this impacting your expansion and ideals that you are working towards with the Sagittarius energy?
- Did you gain any clarity on whether you have set your sights upon the correct mountain? Or have you found yourself feeling overwhelmed and reaching for unhealthy coping mechanisms in order to alleviate that tension between mutable water and fire?
Water will either put the fire out, come to a boil, or sharpen the iron of our will here. It is up to you to determine how you will respond.

Jupiter in Cancer continues to support our Pisces transits. Jupiter in retrograde in Cancer continues to reveal what makes us feel safe, secure, and cared for in the house ruled by this sign in our natal charts. We may find that the roots of these issues are being revealed while we lean into the awareness that collectively we are held and safe.
That collective energy, though, is not always translated into our personal experience. We are then to explore what we can do to change our personal experience to invite more of this loving connection, which Pisces has shown us. At the same time, we may lean further into the illusion of what love, security, and care mean by projecting those qualities onto another. We may look for the love of a missing parental figure in a partner, co-worker, boss, or social leader. This is a love that exists within us, but that we only know how to experience externally through the reflection of the other.
The Jupiter in Cancer retrograde is a fantastic opportunity to clarify where healing is needed for us to feel secure and safe in a way that is not predicated on externally projecting our emotional and physical feelings of uncertainty and fear onto others or those different from us.

Now, let’s take a quick look at Uranus as it retrogrades through Taurus, we receive more support towards this healing moment. Uranus creates a slow-moving generational transit. We are already aware of its impact upon our understanding of what grounds us physically in the body and material world. It suggests that our sense of security, safety, and love is connected to the physical. As we know, the body keeps the score and remembers our experiences even when we mentally forget over time or psychologically suppress them for survival. It is time for us to collectively acknowledge what needs to change to create environments that are supportive of our healing, creating safety for ourselves and for each other. That means there must be access to the necessities needed for survival, including housing, food, water, and clean air.

Lastly, we have the transit of Pluto in Aquarius, making a trine to Uranus in Taurus. This transit reflects the revolution taking place in our relationship to the physical, individuation, and community. Pluto in Aquarius, though, is making an opposition to Jupiter transiting through Cancer. The peak experience, which has been noted as a primary aspect of the individuation process, reveals our connection to that which is bigger than ourselves. This revelation is supported by Jupiter, which enhances our awareness of a desire for care. Jupiter is just outside of the orb for the opposition to occur, but once Jupiter goes direct in 2026, we will be moving back towards this energy. This encourages us to take Jupiter’s retrograde lessons seriously so that we are prepared for the impact when it happens.
This is a very active time astrologically, but in the best of ways. Curious to know how this energy is impacting you personally? Order your transit report HERE.

With love,
