Illustration of Scorpio with moon phases representing transformation, intuition, and the Scorpio lunar cycle

Hi, my loves,

As we approach the end of Scorpio season, we are gifted with a new moon chock-full of opportunity for healing, recovery, and remembering our deepest, most loving parts.

We have several planets in Scorpio, including the sun, moon, and Mercury (rx). This energy encourages us to be brave and dive beneath the surface of our being. We are asked to investigate the questions:

  • What is the root of what drives us?
  • What have we learned from the full moon in Taurus and Uranus moving through Taurus?
  • What lessons do we need to integrate to be honest and upfront about what is and is not working when it comes to providing a life of security and abundance for all?

Now is the time to develop the courage to face our inner truth, no matter how frightening, taboo, or uncomfortable it may appear to be. With this, we can develop the skills to connect with others on a deep level. To see what lies at their core and love them, as we love ourselves, flaws and all. Here, we embrace joy as acceptance of this shadow within others and ourselves. We see this as a bridge of connection between the conscious and the unconscious, not as a means of separation.

We have the courage here to face the hard truths of what is happening in the world. To not turn our back against a reality that is uncomfortable or frightening. We address the emotionally charged topics that others may ignore or suppress. This new moon invites us to unravel our own defense mechanisms. This opens us up to brave conversations and speaking truthfully. It brings us into contact with others who are also prepared to do this work. Here we are heart-centered, but in a way that allows us to face each other and speak even when what is true is painful.

We explore the unconscious as a means to embrace radical honesty and live that truth in our lives. To allow space to forgive ourselves for the shadows, parts, and aspects we have created to survive. To practice self-compassion to heal any shame, judgment, or critical voices that arise within us. Here, we embrace the knowledge that our senses provide us, the awareness of the power that we hold, and the beauty of our sexuality as a form of play and beauty. Above all, we cultivate the skills to be present and aware of how our emotions impact our view of ourselves, each other, and the world. Through active engagement with the body, as we learned with Taurus, we can reconnect to the present in order to metabolize emotions that would otherwise become stuck, leading to stagnation.

These transits support the opportunity for self-healing. A chance to create a life where we develop a feeling of security and the courage to name home within our bodies, our communities, and our spaces where we reside. We embrace the healing of rest, sleep, and loving connections.

To create a commitment to our personal and collective re-membering of the conscious with the unconscious through the body, heart, mind and soul. “Our greatest work is inner work” – Steven Forrest.

  • To develop spiritual habits that support this work which creates space to provide service to others.
  • Commit to the process even when it is difficult.
  • Release systems, beliefs, and habits that do not align with the knowledge you gain as you grow.
  • Do not fear change, but embrace the shifts as you embrace your wholeness.

This new moon signals a time for full immersion with our soul, while balancing our ability to remain present in the physical world. This is why creating a habit through Saturn in Pisces is so vital. It helps to keep us grounded while allowing us to grow. This work is not just about us, but about what we bring back to contribute to the world in the service of others. We build this lifestyle through daily practice.

Through exploration, we discover what spirituality looks like for us. It could be meditation, movement, art, music, teaching, building, or any other activity through which we find that quiet peace within us that is then expressed externally. When we run from this work, we seek escapism through overconsumption from the world around us. Be aware of where your time goes and whether it brings you closer or further from connection with the Self, Source, and each other.
