Yesterday, I shared a post about the energy exchange between Aries and Pisces in 2025. You can check that post out HERE. I would like to continue exploring this energy here, focusing specifically on the energy of the North Node as it moves through the signs. Starting with Aries to Libra.
According to Agneta Borstein, in reference to the findings of Dane Rudhyar, Node comes from the Latin word nodum, meaning knot. Nodes are not planets or objects in the observable sky but are mathematical points created by the intersection of the path of the moon with the plane of the ecliptic. The path of the Nodes is linked together with the path of the moon to that of the Eclipses. Earth orbits around the Sun, and the Moon orbits around Earth. These objects are innately tied together, a knot that, when observed, allows us to understand how the self and our emotions, our soul, and our spirit are also linked.
The North Node is what we are here to learn, understand, and grow into, while the South Node represents the past, whether that is a recent or distant past life, I will not say. The South Node is how we have responded to life before our current one. We are comfortable behaving, thinking, and connecting to others in this way. It is almost like a habit. Yet, in our current life, this may help or hinder our progress in responding to our personal and environmental development.
This year, the North Node moved through Aries, the first sign of the Western zodiac. Aries gives us a burst of energy to live our lives to the fullest. To fight for our survival and desires using sheer will to overcome obstacles. The North Node in Aries has encouraged us to live authentically, face our blockages head-on, and direct our will to manifest our desires. The Libra South Node complicates these efforts by providing a shadow route around this opposition through deflecting, lying by omission, avoiding conflict, and people-pleasing to get our way instead of being upfront. Healing can be found in the shadow or in this case in the opposition. Libra is the sign of balance, harmony, justice, and peace of mind.
Aries is our inner warrior who guards and fights for our inner Child hero/god. When we embrace the wisdom of Aries,
- We understand how to focus our will and not defer to others which helps us achieve our desires.
- We know that facing conflict is the key to achieving peace
- We embrace transforming our fight for survival into creativity and purpose
- We utilize the skills of Libra to support us in achieving our goals, not as a means to get them to do the work for us
