Aries New Moon Solar Eclipse: Another Turn of the Wheel

Hi my loves,

By now you’ve been inundated by posts about the Aries new moon solar eclipse. How it’s signaling significant endings and new beginnings. How your life is finally going to change for the better or worse.

I’m not going to talk about any of that. I don’t honestly think it’s very helpful to present information in that way outside of being motivational.

When I look at the eclipses with their connection to the nodes, Venus retrograded from Aries into Pisces, the same way the nodes moved from Aries to Pisces. Mercury is now sitting at 0 degrees Aries before retrograding into Pisces tomorrow.

Two years ago in April, we experienced our first Aries eclipse. Has your life changed much since then?

Where did you step into your power?

Where did you advocate for yourself?

Where were you called to be brave?

Aries calls us to push out of our shells and go through the birthing process. To begin separating from our comfort zone and to see what else is available for us in the world.

If you find yourself wanting to go back into your shell or cocoon, ask yourself: what am I trying to avoid? What conflicts do I not want to confront? What responsibilities am I running away from?

The Taurus eclipse and North Node brought us face to face with what balance and safety look like in the world and our bodies. When we feel safe in the world and in our bodies, we can stand up for ourselves. To speak up for ourselves. Be brave and put ourselves out there in the world.

The next few days are when the Aries eclipse energy is strongest, but it’s over the next two weeks that the Venus and Mercury retrograde bring up our anxiety and fear around separation and becoming our true self.

To know that we are never alone. That the work is coming closer to Self. Which brings us closer to Source. And this relationship that we have with Source, God, or whatever you believe in, reflects our relationship with the other. Finding that the sense of security in being held in the womb, the shell, the cocoon, the power of Source – is a feeling that we can carry with us always as we grow and mature.

As we say goodbye to this Aries/Libra eclipse and nodal axis, may you know that you are always loved, always held, and never alone.

With love,

Kamilah Rose
