Happy Full Moon in Aquarius. I hope you’ve been having a beautiful week full of joy and receiving your hearts deepest desires.
This has been a busy two days astrologically. Friday, was 8/8 the day when collectively we honor the energy of the Lion’s Gate Portal. The Lion’s Gate Portal is activated each year when the Sun is in Leo and the star Sirius rises to align with Earth, opens a channel of divine light codes and soul remembrance. Leo’s courageous and heart-centered energy calls us to lead from our authenticity, express our creative truth, and reconnect with the fire of our purpose.
I have written on the energy of 8/8 previously here at The Bliss Institute. You can read those posts HERE and HERE. The Lion’s Gate begins and ends after the 8/8, but it is nice to have a central date when everyone comes together to connect with the call to enter into the 8th gate of creation. When we allow ourselves to truly be ourselves without needing to censure our desires, talents, gifts, fears, and shadows from others we find remove the resistance towards designing a life where we can thrive.
Currently, we are experiencing Pluto moving through Aquarius, which activates the oppositional energy of Leo. With Gemini, we learn about the world around us, the importance of communication, and how the information we take in creates our ideas about who we are. In Libra, this helps us to form connections and relationships. We begin to explore how our thoughts impact our sense of peace and harmony with the self and the other. Then we meet Aquarius, who dares to be true to themselves regardless of what anyone else thinks, while also desiring to find where they belong within the collective. We have fixed air and fire coming together to steady our sense of self. Our inner fire, which drives us towards action and creativity, meets the inner work of the Self coming back to the collective.
The key with Aquarius energy is individuation. Individuation is the process of re-membering the conscious and unconscious. This process happens repeatedly throughout our lives as we grow and our roles, relationships, environment, and society shift. This gives us endless opportunities to find new aspects of our personalities, change our behaviors, expand, and grow. Combining this with the courage of Leo to be true to our soul’s calling, we find ourselves in the perfect circumstance to cast aside our personas to revel in the joy of freedom that comes with the work of individuation.
