April Astrology: The Power of Paradox

Hi, my loves,

It’s been busy here at The Bliss Institute! Between tarot, coaching, yoga, and vending at local events, I’ve finally gotten a chance to sit down and chat a bit about the current astrology.

But first, how have you been? Have you been resting?

Aries season came in with a blast. The energy was definitely moving, and hopefully moving in the right direction for you.

This full moon, invites us to embrace the paradox. A paradox describes the concept that two seemingly contradictory things can be true at the same time. For Libra’s this is something that may come naturally to them or it may be their major lesson to learn. Like their sister sign, Gemini, Libra’s are able to take in a lot of information which they then use to create new paradigms. Where Gemini’s focus on knowledge and data in general, Libra’s concentrate on social information. They are able to take in and create knowledge around relationships. This includes relationships between people, items, the world, our physical forms. If we can connect and form a relationship to it, then it falls under Libra’s realm. Interestingly, this also relates to their symbol being the only inanimate object in the Western zodiac.

Let’s not stop here, let’s chat about the new moon in Aries on the 17th. Here we have a lot of delicious active Aries energy. We have Mercury, Mars, Saturn, and Neptune all in conjunction, amplifying their energy. This is a time when we may be bold, daring, direct, and dedicated. We feel like we can finally make our dreams come true. This energy can also come with an air of delusion. A lack of attachment to the reality of the long-term impact of what we are doing, the amount of work it will take, and how working this hard is impacting our health.

The question here is, how do you deal with intense energy or demands upon you? Are you running towards or away from the challenge? Perhaps you are frozen or trying to convince others to be on your side. Aries energy is always focused on survival, innovation, and taking action. How we personally respond to this depends on our history, culture, and personality. When we combine the impact of the Libra full moon and the Aries new moon, we are challenged to expand our understanding of what we can achieve through our ability to hold paradox. There are many truths that exist at the same time. While for some this might be frustrating or overwhelming, when we master this concept, we understand that anything is possible. In turn, this suggests that WE can be anything. Thus, those fears of failure, danger, and pressure to act are present, but we can also be mindful, aware, and intentional in how we move.

Rest this month. Take time to catch a 15-minute nap, read a good book, take a walk, or spend time with those you love.

We are building a new world. Remain involved in the process so that your voice can be heard.

With love,

Kamilah Rose
