Greetings beloveds,
Over the past month I have been connecting with the African Goddess of Life and Death Ala. You can read more about her here.
What came most clearly to me during this time was that it was time to clean up house. I don’t mean pick up stuff off the floor and vacuum. I mean clear out your closet, kitchen, car, friendships; everything has to go that is not actively contributing to your life. Goddess Ala said, “you don’t need it, let it go.” That was the lesson I learned from that work. When it’s time, there’s no where to hide or run, you just have to deal with it.
I also found that it was ok to let go when you do not want to. The reason I personally develop relationships with my deities is because I believe that there are energies that I smarter than me. I then, should want to connect to them more to gain their guidance.
This next full moon cycle connects us to the Orisha or Winds, Storms, and Rebirth Oya. So buckle up bubs, it’s about to be a bumpy ride.
