New Moon in Leo: The Rising Sun

Leo reigns supreme with the Sun, Moon, Venus, and Mars in Leo during this new moon. We have been THROUGH it with the previous energy in Cancer. All of these planets are direct meaning that there is no holding back the light and power of Leo.

The sun has come out to bring a little sparkle to the depths of Cancer and dry out those of us who were washed out. You may have noticed that I used the same title card for this new moon as the energy is so similar. This highlights the cyclical nature of astrology. The energy continues to move in a spiral and as we are taken through deep emotional healing during Cancer season we rise back to the surface to share our new perspectives during Leo season.

If there’s a project, goal, dream that you have now is the time to put those plans into motion. We have a slight reprieve between the intensities of the energies between Cancer and Capricorn to make some big moves. This work needs to be complete before Virgo season begins. I know the glitter and glow of Leo season is enthralling but balance that out with networking, setting dates for moving forward on projects, and being productive. Uranus in Taurus is supporting this energy by encouraging you to recognize the value of your talents! This whole Taurus in Uranus is yes related to finances and how our overall society works with money, but we can tap into this through our personal values and gifts. Right now, the change may feel slow. The growth seems slow. It’s prep time! Put plans in place to succeed and maximize on the changes that are coming

Leos are stars getting shit done with style and grace. This new moon makes that energy available to everyone and we can tap into that glow. It’s going to happen even if you don’t do anything to support it. Take advantage of these good vibes!

This time is all about health and wellness. That Leo glow is not an accident. It comes from practicing self-care in a radical way. Not just getting your nails, hair, skin, and money together but your overall vibe. Put together a proactive morning routine. Rise with the sun to take advantage of that life giving and SUSTAINING energy. If you do not already, make a commitment to a morning routine starting with Leo season on July 23rd. We are going to reverse engineer this. What time do you need to leave the house or start your daily tasks? Make that you end point time and work back from there. You want to get up early enough where you are not rushed. This is your time to pamper yourself before the day begin. Now this is a rough basic schedule including general hygiene. If you do not have a schedule already in place this is a great place to start. I’ll share the Leo Glow Up Routine in the next post. Also, this is based on a single individual with no kids, but if you have a partner or children adjust to add in any activities or tasks that need to be completed for them. I find myself to be more productive when I prepare for day the night before.
