New Moon in Gemini: Dare to Be Great

New Moon in Gemini

It’s Gemini Season! We are feeling the pull to get out and share what matters most to us (to those who deserve it). We have recently come through some difficult times of release, rejuvenation, and rebirth. The birth process is not always easy and yet there is idea that everything is sunshine and roses during the spring. More so we are going through birth, new born, teething, and terrible twos in a short period of time. When we are most focused on what others want from us than on what we need for ourselves we come up with a deficit. Now that we have accessed what truly holds value for us during our time in Taurus it’s time to start letting people know what our standards are through using our voice.

Through embracing how we truly feel about ourselves, our hopes, and our dreams we can begin to express that with others. This can be done by connecting our heart desires to our throat chakra. If you have not worked on grounding and defining your sense of stability through your root, sacral, and solar plexus chakra’s you might find this to be a bit disconcerting. No worries. Do the work now. Gemini’s may not be the best at finishing projects but they definitely enjoy the process.  Get into the process of healing as this will assist you in releasing old patterns and codes that do not serve you. Although we are in the time of rebirth, we may just be bringing back old ways that should have died but we would not let go. Release!! My video on ancestral healing and release can help you with this process.

This this work you’ll find yourself experiencing victories in your personal life, home, work, and spiritual practice. You may also find that in the same ways that the veil is thinner during Samhain or Halloween that your divination abilities are heightened at this time. Cultivate your talents through paying active attention to what you excel at. If you have a difficult time knowing what your gifts are, ask those who you trust what skills they have seen you exhibit. Gemini’s are great mirrors for communication and allow for us to share clearly what we see in ourselves and each other. Also, watch for signs and symbols of significance. This could be through numerology, astrology, animal symbols, or your personal signs. For me, I know I need to ground because I’ll scratch a wall with my car. It never fails, when I’m all up in my head and unbalanced Spirit wakes me up with a jolt. Identify your personal signs as you nurture your relationship with Spirit and self.

Happy New Moon!

New Moon in Gemini Astrology

  • Pluto/ Saturn in Capricorn and Jupiter in Scorpio are in retrograde; TAKE IT SLOW!! Let the Universe do its work, and you do your part to be ready when it’s time.
  • Uranus in Taurus: We are taking time to ground ourselves and reinvent how we connect to each other. Renewing how we communicate and upgrading our practices to advance our local and global communities.
  • Mars in Aquarius: Mars in Aquarius represents a desire for independence and liberation. We are wanting to explore our ability to provide for yourself in an innovative way. You might be experimenting with new forms of technology, media, or currency. We are wanting to try new things and approaches to fixing our personal, community, societal, and global issues. Just be mindful of only wanting to try things your way.
  • Sun in Gemini: Gemini is the physical manifestation of shadow integration process so that we are able to see the full capacity of the human experience. They are the embodiment of both/and functioning as two complete halves within one whole being.
  • Ruled by the planet Mercury, Gemini’s are in a constant state of motion even when they appear to be still. If they are sitting quietly you can bet they are planning, thinking, and creating rapidly within their minds.
  • Mercury in Cancer: Our communication softens and becomes more nurturing. It’s time for us to connect with our hearts and speak our truths.
  • Venus in Leo: This is a magnetic energy drawing in others to connect with our light. This may be time for you to step out of the shadows and on to the stage.
  • Neptune in Pisces: We are diving in deeply to the fantasy of what our love lives or life in general could be. We may encounter people or situations that seem to be the perfect manifestation of what we desire. Remember that in the sign and planet of dreams things are not always what they seem.

The Energy of Winter

winter

Greetings beloveds,

Here’s a revised version of the energy of Winter. Enjoy!

Winter – A time of rest where we set our intentions, hopes, and goals for the upcoming time of movement during the spring. A time for personal development, to heal, do shadow work, and get in touch with your emotions through physical movement and the body. Winter gives us a chance to create plans, gather information, and design an action plan.

According to the Chinese five elements system, winter is associated with the element of water. Water is a conduit of energy associated with adaptability and fluidity due to its ability to shift it’s form depending on the environment in which it finds itself. Water is an abundant element within our world. In fact, our physical bodies and the Earth are composed mostly of water. How well do you understand yourself in relationship to the water of this world as well as your body? Winter provides the perfect opportunity for you meditate on these questions and study the element of water.

Spending time in nature also provides many lessons about the process of creating life. During the winter, the Earth in that hemisphere is in hibernation.  It appears to be inactive and still. The stillness draws us in, encouraging us to want to better understand ourselves as well as the world around us. Although it seems that the world is still during this time, it is actively growing within its womb the manifestations of life to come forth in the spring. Do you remember how a seed grows? The warm earth combined with the moisture of the soil interacts with the needs of the seed to slowly pull the life from within it’s shell. The Earth nurtures that life until the world above it has shifted to provide an environment through which the plant can thrive. Over the years we have shifted our attention and respect away from the Earth and its feminine energy to the Sun as the masculine. We shy away from the Earth’s time, just as we shy away from the power of the Divine Feminine’s shadow side. Learning to love the Earth, particularly during the colder months, is one way to access the feminine and to understand how she functions, loves, manifests, and creates change.

New Years-Winter Solstice

Those who follow a Wiccan or Celtic path may honor the new year during Samhain as that is when the veils between the worlds are thinnest. As a Priestess of the Dark Goddess though, winter solstice is the perfect time to commune with the Divine while you are within the underworld. This is also a great time to design your intentions, goals, and plans for the next year. As the longest night of the year, the extended period of darkness corresponds with the depths of our subconscious. Our subconscious holds our deepest desires and unconscious drives. Through exploration of these aspects of ourselves we can determine the path through which we can heal and grow to achieve our dreams.

Here’s an example of how I prepare for the upcoming year using ritual and tarot/oracle cards. During my Winter Solstice ritual I enjoy using a tarot deck in a Celtic cross spread to understand the main focus of the upcoming year. Then I use an oracle deck for a seasonal spread to get an idea of what my main focus for each season will be. I pull 5 cards, the first card representing the general energy of the next year, then a card for each season. For example, in 2017 my general energy was Hekate and Illumination through a journey in the Underworld. Then as every season changes during the upcoming year I pull new cards. One new general energy reading and three more for each month in that season. This system allows for me to remain engaged in my spiritual practice throughout the year without getting overwhelmed with a large ritual every time the season changes.

How do you flow with the season during the winter? What are you rituals for Winter Solstice?

Autumn Equinox Energy Forecast: Harmony in Mind, Heart, Spirit, and Body

Autumn Equinox

Greetings beloveds,

It’s a bit chilly you as you open the door to start your day. Children have returned to school and perhaps you or others you know have returned to their higher education studies. Cars are riding with the windows down. Patios are open and becoming you to come, eat, and relax at restaurants. The evenings grace us with cool breezes reminding us of warm drinks, cozy fires, and nourishing comfort foods. Oh yea and it’s officially pumpkin spice everything. Welcome to Autumn.

This is going to be a season of thoughtfulness. Metacognition, research, education, advances in technology and detail oriented analysis. Autumn crawls in shifting the energy towards stillness, turning us inwards. As Autumn is ruled by the element of air and the cardinal sign of Libra we find ourselves reflecting on balance, justice, beauty of our experiences and being. You can read more about the Autumn’s energy here. This season may come as a comfort for some after the deep emotional work and release that occurred over the summer. We will find ourselves taking a more detached and rational approach to our relationships, plans, and desires. This does not mean that we will become cold hearted but more so that we will process experiences through a different lens.

Now, we will be accessing our world through the perception of Lady Justice. As you know, her eyes are covered for she weighs the choices and works of this world based on intuition and her connection with Spirit. Has what occurred brought balance to myself, others, and our world? Are my plans and desires rooted in creating balance, beauty, and justice? If not, it is time to re-examine your goals and plans. We have entered an age of transparency and authenticity. If your works and ambitions will knowingly cause harm or pain they will not serve you well. Remember, Fall is not only about balance but justice. So be mindful of what you would like to create in the world. Justice will be served if not on this plane on another.

October

We start this season off still smarting from the burning away of relationships, illusions, and connections from the summer and eclipse. You may find your thoughts still preoccupied with a broken heart, rejection, insecurity, or grieving for the loss of what was. Many have experienced the loss of their jobs, cars, homes, family, friends, lovers, animal companions, and dreams. This mental masturbation should begin to quiet during October. As you begin to accept the new world that you exist in you will begin to operate from a more balanced place internally. What has been occurring over the past year has been a reconfiguration of the masculine. This is an energy that we all hold so we have all felt the pangs of healing. The masculine lay at the bottom of the ocean over the summer watching the shimmer of the sun against the water. Knowing that at some point they would shine again. Struggling to become a part of the depth of the waters as the salt cleansed wounds with a searing burn. Has our masculine risen? Time will tell.

Following the eclipse, the path was opened to drift into the sweetness of fresh waters. These waters provide a gentler healing where one can look around them and see how they might fit into this world. The energy of Libra soothes the critical Virgo energy as we now look at what CAN be done to achieve our goals and heal. October via Libra is a time for forward movement focused on the truth that self-care produces the means to achieve successful supporting external relationships. Our hearts were heavy this summer and it is time to balance the scales. What do you need to release to bring harmony? Do you need to work with your heart? Become your hearts friend? Or perhaps you need to let your heart have the entire bowl on one side of the scale and increase your weight of your thoughts by going deeper within your mind and connection with spirit.

November

Balancing our heart brings us to a space of divine healing. Spend the time of October 22-November 22 focused on your spiritual wellbeing and connection. Time spent in meditation, spiritual communion, prayer, and spiritually focused study will begin to remove the blocks within your energy that have restricted your ability to expand. It must be noted this may not be a pleasant experience. Think of when your leg has fallen asleep and you begin to slowly move it to get the blood flowing again. It’s prickly and tingling. A strange feeling that can be unpleasant but let’s you know unequivocally that you are alive. That is how this healing will feel. We have shifted into Scorpio season which is calling us into the underworld. The veils of the world are becoming thinner so that this spiritual work can be done with more ease. Release resistance to this process. Prepare for it. You know that the underworld is coming so get ready. This is one of the few times I can tell you, the underworld is not sneaking up on you. Death is standing right in front of you, letting you know my time is coming.

Think of this like the rip current. The advice when you encounter a rip current is to not fight the waves that are pulling you under and out to see. Swim parallel to the shore and try to conserve your energy. Go with the flow because you feel as if you are being pulled under when you are really being pulled out. You are being forced to expand at a rate that is faster than what we are used to. The water will toss and tumble you. This is not about what you want and there is no directing this event. You can only focus on yourself. Swim along what you are wanting to achieve. Eventually your feet will touch the bottom of the ocean. You’ll feel the steadiness of the land beneath your feet. Then you’ll be near enough to the shore, to moving out of the underworld, that you can begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The point? To wake you up. To make you remember the brilliance of this world. To know your power and purpose. To see the beauty in yourself and others. Our motto for the middle portion of Autumn is “just keep swimming”.

December

As Winter approaches, the days shorten and the sky darkens as we are pulled into the spirit world. We are nearing the season of death and rebirth. You have worked to balance your heart, establish a spiritual connection founded on healing, and now it is time to share your truth. This may be with close friends, your family, your social media circle, or the world. Regardless of whether you speak your truth to your animal friends or in a public announcement, speak. Embody your truth so that your very being expresses your story. Nonverbal communication will serve you just as much as audible speech. Dress yourself in a fashion that is aligned with your true self. Let the movement of your body be lead by your intuition. Perhaps taking a class on speaking, ballet, pole, or another form of physical expression through movement. These classes will assist you in finding motions that will meet this need. This will also be an excellent time to work on your throat chakra through sound and crystal healing modalities. I recently started working with the gong and singing bowls and they have changed every aspect of my practice. Toning, chanting, singing, even reading your own words aloud are additional forms of practice to take up at this time.

Well loves that’s our overview for Fall 2017. There will be a bit of work involved but it will be worth it. Here’s to meeting you all in the underworld at Winter’s Solstice.

-Rose

Reflections: Initiation through Fire

Greetings beloveds,

I hope you all are being well care for, loved, and appreciated. We are getting closer to the eclipse and as we do we are seeing the world shift around us. It is time to choose which path you would like to take. Of love towards all or fear? When I speak of love I do not mean some ambiguous term but the active behavior, idea, emotion, energy which drives our world.

Today I went for a walk through the park. It had been raining off and on leaving the ground damp, the air humid, and the sky grey. I came upon a spider web visible only because of the droplets of water that glistened in the light. We are all connected by strings of energy that weave a web creating this world. This web is not something we can see everyday but now and then there’s a little rain which makes it visible. I walked on past the web leaving the spider in peace. It was not long before I came upon the first piece of trash on the ground. Then more and more. I went along picking up the larger pieces as I came upon them and putting them in the trash cans. My thoughts went back to the spider web and how we are all connected. Then I saw the trash on the ground steps away from a trash can. The cigarette butts that littered the parking lot mixed with fallen leaves and I knew. I knew that just as others had treated the land as their trashcan, we treat ourselves like trash, we treat each other like trash. It’s all tied together. The carelessness in which we treat the world around us is indicative of how we treat each other all based on a lie. The lie of scarcity.

A scarcity mindset sells us the lie that there is not enough love, time, space, food, cars, money, homes, land, water, or life for everyone to be able to thrive. We then are pitted against each other to try to survive because we THINK there is not enough and if one person has something then it is possible that we will not be able to have that thing because there’s only so much to go around. So we begin to view everything as something that can be divided up and owned. Then people are able to be divided up and owned. Then our own time and talents are able to be divided up, sold, and owned by another. This lie of scarcity fuels all the isms. It drives wedges between us pitting us against each other. Can you see the web? Do you see how these all connect?

Today, make the decision to change the design. Create a new web based on abundance, compassion, mindfulness, and empathy. Treat yourself well. Treat each other well. Treat the planet and all of the millions of living beings that inhabit this world well. Then watch the energy shift.

This will not be an easy time. We are going through an initiation globally. It will be a time of death and rebirth through conflict. Here is an Eclipse reading I did to shed some light on the energy that is active during this time.

The Divination Toolkit: The Tarot Series- The World/The Adept

Divination Toolkit Tarot Series (1)

XXI The World/The Adept

A laurel whirls above your head or perhaps you are within this wreath. You have embraced the call of the trumpet with childlike joy and wonderment at what is to come. You are free of restraints and unlike the Hanged Man, your world is right side up. You understand the depth of this world due to two things symbolized by the two wands held by the dancing woman. First, your conscious awareness of your connection to source and the integration of your internal levels of self which also occurs in two ways. We have the subconscious, conscious, and ego along with the spirit, mind, physical, and emotional bodies. When all of these parts of your being come together, the World is at your feet.

The World card arrives in your tarot reading as a sign that you have successfully arrived at universal consciousness. You have completed the initiation process of the Fool’s Journey and have gained access to a World of knowledge, experience, and growth. The four guardians bid you welcome into the sacred mysteries. Your superficial ties to this Earthly plane have been severed and now you dance freely between the worlds. This card is distinctly portrayed as a woman to illustrate the properties of continuous creation through connection with the Divine. This is a time of joy but also one of serious contemplation. For at every end of a journey begins a new one.

The World card in your reading also indicates that you will have or already have successfully completed your projects or goals. The Fool’s Journey also applies to mastering your

will to manifest your desires. This comes through an ability to combine your will which is of the mind with your subconscious passions which are driven by your emotions. You needed these areas to work together to give you the strength to continue towards your goal when the nights were too long, the obstacles too large, when the final goal felt too far away. When emotionally you felt frayed your will stepped in refusing to be defeated. When your will felt weak your subconscious gathered up visions of what was to come upon the completion of your work. You subconscious sent you an inkling of a memory of loved ones that lifted you up during other difficult times of your life. You reached out to these people and your will became fortified. You’ve reached the top of the World, time to celebrate before the next journey begins.

Reversed:

The World card in reverse suggests that there are difficult times ahead. You are on your way to achieving your goal but it will not be easy. The World card in reverse can also mean that you did not choose the path of courage but of fear. You are avoiding change and holding on to the World as you know it. Let go. Take in the lessons brought to you by the Journey through the major arcana and learn from them. There is still time for a new journey begins with the first step.

Numerology and Astrology:

The number 21 represents an energy of completion and success. Those who align with this number find that they finish projects of a grand scale with little to no obstacles. These are the titans of their industries who spend more time caring for others and the well-being of this planet than on items or fame. Ruled by Jupiter and Saturn, it is no wonder that the number 21 is associated with success. Jupiter brings luck and divine guidance to all the souls combined universal purpose as presented by Saturn.

The Fool has completed this leg of the journey. What have you learned? What did you create? What do you release? Where will the next journey take you? The only way to know is to draw the next card and take that first step.

Divination Toolkit: The Tarot Series-Judgement/The Sarcophagus

Divination Toolkit Tarot Series (1)

XX Judgement/The Sarcophagus

Do you hear it? The sound of the trumpet as souls rise from their final resting places. They turn towards the sound hands raised in joy at the revelation of their connection to Spirit. This is the power of time and rebirth. There may be three people in this scene, perhaps two adults and a child. They have awakened from a lifetime of slumber to the knowledge that they are one with their higher power. The knowledge that heaven and hell lie within the mind. They are given the second chance to live their lives from this informed vantage point. They are not being judged by the heavenly being they are being awakened to judge for themselves whether they will create a paradise through a life of joy, compassion, and grace or damnation through fear, pain, and judgement. Do you hear the sound? What choice do you make?

The Judgement card come to us when we have reached a time of spiritual awakening. We realize that we are connected to something bigger than ourselves. Before, we were the walking dead living each day with the belief that we are separate beings whose lives do not interact beyond the surface level of perhaps romantic, familial, or platonic love. Before we are aware, we do not see each other at the soul level. That core of spirit which came from source and connects us all. When the common phrase “stay woke” is used it references this concept. Our consciousness has woken up, becoming aware of our connection to the universal consciousness.

The Judgement card also indicates that now is a time of change through death and renewal. There are old way, ideas, behaviors, and concepts of self that played their part and are no longer of use to you. It is time for them to be released. Let them die. Let the job go, move to a new home or location, release the relationships that are not supportive of your highest good. You have gone through the trails of the Hanged Man, the Tower, the Devil, the Star, Moon, The Sun. All of this was so you could figure out the type of life you wanted to live, so you could learn to discern the best choices for you. Sometimes these are hard choices that we do not want to make. They mean letting go of things that we love and cherish. These decisions could change our lives indefinitely, creating a whole new World for us to explore. Do not fear, the Judgement card is here to show you that after the light of the Sun showed us the false nature of separation and duality, that there are no wrong choices just different paths to take.

Reverse:

The Judgement card in reverse indicates that you fear change. Change finds us in many ways such as aging, death, or the release of old jobs, relationships, and items. When we react with fear to these things we become resistant. We find ourselves holding on to the old because we do not want things to change. Change is hard. It is not always by choice or has an immediate positive outcome, but it is the only constant. Things that do not change are stagnant. They hold no life. They cannot grow or improve. The reality is though, for those who have experienced pain, abuse, judgment, oppression, they have seen the shadow side of change to often to welcome it with open arms. I cannot promise you that the change that is coming will be full of love, freedom, and joy. What I can say is that you do always have a choice of how you choose to perceive the world around you. It is time to make that choice. Do you choose life or do you choose fear?

Numerology and Astrology:

The number 20 is the beginning of a new lesson. We have moved from the singular path of the one digit and the self in the double digits to connection through the number 2. This is a card to tests and trials. Those who align with this card have a keen sense of discernment which calls for them to make decisions based on empirical data combined with emotional insights through intuition. Ruled by the Moon, Earth, and Saturn we see the use of wisdom through our lessons learned and intuition assisting us in making sound decisions. Saturn as the Divine seeks to offer us the world if we chose to take it while also presenting us the truth of work that must be done to achieve this final step. Saturn challenges us to overcome or submit to our fears.

Divination Toolkit: The Tarot Series- The Sun

Divination Toolkit Tarot Series (1)XIX The Sun

From the dark of night we emerge into the light of day, welcome to The Sun.  A man and women or perhaps just one child frolic on the Sun card. If there is a couple, then they are clothed in opposing colors of perhaps red and blue to display the unity between duality. Behind them a similarly painted wall with red and blue bricks provides us with the knowledge that our external world has reached balance between dualing forces as well. Or there may be the lone child riding upon a white horse. Their hands thrown up in joy as they ride without a saddle, free of restraints or need of security. This child and horse represent the achievement of balance and the freedom that results from it. In this scene, the four sunflowers represent the elements of Earth in alignment with the spirit, will, and body of the child. The child rides beyond the gates of what could be Eden having found paradise within. Through finding internal balance we have surpassed the Magician’s work of mastering the material world and have begun to advance our world into new realms.

The Sun card in the Tarot is a symbol for balance between our subconscious and conscious self. It represents that the apparent separation or conflict between seemingly opposing forces has been repaired. Alternatively, The Sun states that these dualities have never been real or in conflict. The Sun has risen showing us that the illusions separation presented the Moon card have been false. Upon realizing this we see that we are an alchemical process which produces gold-a golden spirit. When we stop battling ourselves we can interact with the elements of the world around us both physically and spiritually to create a paradise on Earth. It is through facing our shadow in the Moon that we rise with the Sun.

The Sun card can also represent a time of peace, love, joy, and family. Our social connections are strong right now. Our family and friendships are progressing well and in harmony with one another. You may also be finding yourself having a child like sense of joy and peace. Children when cared for and in safe environments they are light, free, creative, and comfortable expressing themselves. They feel without shame or fear. This does not suggest that you should turn a blind eye to any wrongs or unpleasant experiences but that you should face them head on with the courage of one who KNOWS that all will be well. That is the energy of the Sun. Be brave, be bold, be vulnerable, be open to the knowledge that the world has to offer you and be prepared to use it appreciate the life the world has to offer you.

Reverse:

The Sun in reverse indicates that you are close to achieving your desire but that there is a delay or more work to be done. What stands out to you in the image? Is it the colors, the people or child, the plants, the sun? Pay attention to what catches your eye as this is what area needs more work before you will complete your task or receive your happy ending. The Sun in reverse can also indicate that things may appear to be perfect harmony but there is something that is not quite right. Take a moment to ensure that you have dotted your I’s and crossed your T’s. This is not a time to get caught up in false illusions of perfection. See things as they really are and make sure that you have done your internal work. Lastly, the Sun card in reverse can also mean a broken contract or that a time of peace and happiness in your life is coming to an end. Do not fret, this is the cycle that exists for us all. There is much to be learned from this experience. Know that if you reached the Sun before you can return there again.

Numerology and Astrology:

Nineteen is the final number before we move into the twenties. Nine’s are the end of a cycle, the completion of a journey. The number 19 represents the completion of the journey to self-actualization and success. Those with this energy flourish in business, marriage, family, and life. They are creative, innovative, and able to bring their ideas to reality. When one is an unbalanced 19 they wear the façade of success and happiness while using tricks and deception to get ahead. These are individuals who cannot face their shadow so they hide behind a false light. The Sun in Tarot is ruled by Leo, Mars, and the Sun which explains why there is the charge of courage, success, achievement, and luck associated with this card. These energies combined are a recipe for manifestation and creation. Yet, unchecked they can also drive one towards arrogance, destruction, and war. Thus, they perfectly reflect the purpose of the Fool’s journey and the ongoing search for balance.

The Fool is now at a significant point in his journey where he must decide how we view and interact with the world. It is the time of Judgement.

The Divination Toolkit: The Tarot Series-The Star

Divination Toolkit Tarot Series (1)

XVII The Star

A woman kneels her hands holding two jars, one jar pours the waters of life onto the Earth and a second jar which pours water into a pool. Next to the woman is a bird or butterfly in a tree. High above them an 8 pointed star surrounded by 7 smaller stars, shines brightly lighting up the sky and giving hope to the future.

The Tower brought us sudden change through an innovative new idea or transition which changed your world dramatically. You were forced to relinquish your hold to the material world and its trappings. You expanded your belief system, realizing that there must be a balance between the spiritual and material world. The Star card represents the hope that remains when our worlds fall apart. When the Star card comes up in your reading try to remain positive about the situation at hand. Things have fallen apart so you to have the opportunity to create a better world for yourself. This is new chance for you. Take this chance and make a plan for what you want to achieve then follow that plan through to its completion. When the Star card comes up in reference to a goal it suggests that you may have a difficult time finishing what you start. Empty the jars and move on.

The Star card also arrives in your reading to remind you that there must be a balance between the material and spiritual world. The soul gains freedom and understands truth through life experiences. This can only occur when we are brave enough to go beyond our comfort zone. The Star is the guiding light which stirs our soul when we are unsure of what is to come next for us. The material world is not always the physical things around us it also is our heart that guides us. The spiritual world is not always this otherworldly energy of an all-powerful God or Goddess. It is our internal connection with Spirit. These are portions of our character that must be built up to guide us. It is our internal compass that, like the North Star represented by the 8 pointed star, can always orient us when we are lost or confused. Pour your energy equally into developing your heart and soul. Let them guide you.

Reverse:

The Star card in reverse represents having a pessimistic view of the world. When the shift from the Tower occurs one can look up creating a new world or one can stay focused on all the things that they used to have. Creating a viewpoint that is stagnant. When you are focused on what was or what could have been you miss the opportunity to create a new path for yourself. The rubble will fall and there is nothing you could do about what was. You can only work on what remains. Take heart! Everything you need is available to you.
