Spring Equinox 2019: Enchanted Ascension

Spring is HERE!

It is finally time to come out of the underworld and return to the surface to bring the subconscious into our conscious world.

Here’s the breakdown of what’s going on astrologically.

Sun and Chiron in Aries in the 9th house: A time of learning, exploring and taking the unbeaten path. Aries sun energy is connected to movement, speed, and determination. This may not be an elegant plan but it will get the job done. Chiron in Aries is healing our relationship with autonomy, sovereignty, leadership and developing the will to follow through with our plans.

During this spring equinox we’ll be learning more about our true selves and what we are here to contribute to the world. If you find that over the past 3-4 years you have been doing all the research and feel that you have an idea of what you would like to accomplish at this time in your life but can’t seem to get the curtain to rise on your one man show, Aries is acting as the stage manager who pulls the lead aside to chat with them about how there is no show without the team. The crew, the director, the audience – everyone has a role to play.

Autonomy is not isolation or rejection. It is the ability to have the power to assert and advocate for yourself and everyone in our global community. The energy of Libra assists with balancing the shadow of Aries who acts without thinking and is only concerned with what is best for themselves. Take your purpose and state it as a service. How does this contribute to the whole? See your place the grander story and let that drive you towards action.

Mercury and Neptune in Pisces in the 8th and 9th house respectively: 8th house work concerns inheritance, sexuality, and ritual. Mercury in Pisces is a slow, deep, other-worldy experience. Mercury is the communicator, messenger and trickster. Here Mercury pulls us into the subconscious to access information, memories, and pieces of ourselves that we have released because it did not serve us. Serve us in being outspoken may have gotten us punished, being quiet might have made us more susceptible to bullies, being quit and witty might have been frustrating to adults in your life who were not in the mood for that humor. These are not necessarily positive or negative personality traits. We see that sometimes then we push down parts of ourselves to survive or have what we perceive to be a better life.

Mercury opens the door to bringing up these experiences that we may not be consciously aware of. In the 8th house, we are looking at our intimacy inheritance. Couple that with Neptune in Pisces who is home in the waters of the subconscious and dreams in the 9th house which focuses on knowledge, exploration, and discovery. We are having encounters with our past selves through others, our dreams, our ancestors. Change and growth doesn’t always occur in the physical often it is psychological. What we heal internally if reflected externally.

Moon in Aquarius in the 8th house brings us to experiment with our relationship to our past, subconscious, and sexuality. We are wanting to move outside the conventional and try things that pique our interest because it is electrifying.

Big Daddy Cap is all up in this Spring Equinox. The outer planets and Mars are firmly grounded in the daily grind. Plans, systems, processes, and order are fall under Capricorns domain. Capricorns have the advantage of being made of land and water. Capricorns’ ground and balance the emotional sensitivity of Cancer. Capricorns may not incite ideas of sensitivity, grace, and emotional intelligence but this is what gives them the drive to be so productive. They are doing it for their loved ones, for the planet, for the universe. That takes a lot of strength and an ability to keep their eye on the prize. Even…a bit of selfishness.

This season we turn our attention to our health. Create that health regime. It’s time. Get your health in order, get your paperwork in order, make sure are aware of local resources that can assist you in health-related matters. Pay for the insurance, take your vitamins, eat nutrient dense foods, move your body, express your emotions, take time off, get enough sleep. We need consistency to create habits and time to see results. You may also see structure come to your relationships. You’re more pragmatic on how you approach partnerships, long term commitments, and contractual obligations. Be straightforward and don’t be afraid to assert yourself. List out your needs and requirements so you have a foundation to stick to when negotiations begin. You’re worth the investment.

Lastly, there is Uranus and Venus in Taurus in the 10th house indicating our careers will be impacted by our relationships and radical chance. Venus in Taurus is decadent. It is rich foods, luscious surroundings, and being enveloped in the most delicious comforting relationships. In the 10th house, Venus in Taurus calls us to make our careers feel like a love nest. It brings us to supportive surroundings, opportunities, and projects. It will also show us where we are missing these things in our purpose.

Research your own astrology so you can understand your relationship to what is happening in macro-astrology.

With love,

Conscious Dreaming: Wisdom from Within

Balance is everything as we see with the ascendant and mars in the 1st house in Taurus, the Midheaven in the 10th, Pluto and Saturn in the 9th house all in Capricorn. Pisces is stepping into the spotlight in the 11th house with the Sun, Moon and Neptune. The effects of this new moon will be externally driven. Our spiritual families and beliefs take center stage. How we relate to each other Intense dreams which expose our deepest desires, fears, and even connect us to our nonphysical spirit guides and ancestors. This is a great time to explore dream analysis and magic. There are messages and information available to us from the broader nonphysical world that we can access when we are open to receiving that knowledge. A wonderful way to support this energy would be through a consistent night time ritual. Here’s a couple of ways to get you started.

Pisces Dream Ritual

  •             Gather your materials: incense, candles, tea, journal or notebook, writing utensil, comfortable space to conduct the ritual.
  •             Clean and clear your space and body using your favorite space cleansing method such as smoke clearing, singing bowl, or chanting. This is not only to clear the energy of the space but to put you into the ritual mental space.
  •             Now commence with your ritual. Traditionally you would cleanse your physical form in a bath or shower next but as this is Pisces season your interaction with water/liquids can be a central part of your ritual. Here’s what I suggest:

Depending on where you would like to hold your ritual, first set up your sacred space with by lighting your candle/s and incense. Then set up your tea or drink and a representation of earth. If you’re wanting to nurture yourself, you can use your dinner for your representation of earth. After you’ve blessed the food you can then literally consume your intentions making them a part of your physical form.

Now, call in your ancestors, spirit guides, and the directions. Ask for them to protect you and guide you during your ritual. Then acknowledge your illuminated and shadow self. Each play a role in helping to explore this life.

Place your hands over the tea or drink and food asking that the energy align with your body and spirit as you explore the depths of the unconscious. To bring through clear images of your path and desires. To show you your spirit family and highlight the work that you will be doing. Know that you might have a dream that is frightening. This might bring up your fears of what and who you can be. Your dreams might also include folks who you can’t stand or have drama with. Evaluate what is happening in the dream, how you felt during each part, and any symbols that stood out to you. Now consume your food and drink. When you are complete release and give thanks to your ancestors, guides and directions. You’ll find the final bedtime ritual at the end of this post.

Bath or Shower Ritual

  • First clean your tub, shower, and bathroom.
  • Then use herbs, oils, sea salt, Epsom salt (be mindful of your blood pressure) to create a spiritual bath or shower.
  • Place your hands over the water or play your preferred spiritual  instrument over the water to set the tone and energy of the water.
  • While in the bath or shower take 3 deep breaths and picture the water flowing over your body cleansing you of any negative spirits, energy, or thoughts.

Next, find a comfortable position and take deep breaths letting the air flow in through your nose and then breath out through your mouth. Let your attention focus on your breath. Air is life. Water is life. Earth is life. Fire is Life. Each of the elements come together creating a physical world for us to live and grow. As you flow deeper into your meditation allow yourself to focus on the element that seems prominent for you. This could be the water you are currently in, the air you are breathing, the earthy weight of your body, or the fire of the heated water. Let any messages or visions come to you at this time. Remain in this state as long as you like.

Once you feel complete, beginning with your toes gently begin to move your body. This will help to ground you back in your physical form. Give thanks to your ancestors, guides, and directions for their protection and insight. Then release the water and proceed with washing your body off to remove any energy left over from your meditation.

You can continue this work by setting intentions before you go to sleep for wisdom to be delivered to you in your dreams. Leave a pen and pad or some way to document any dreams that you may have. There will be lots of knowledge shared through the dream state this new moon which can provide insight into your personal topics of interest for the new astrological new year.

Happy Dreams,

28 Days of Love: The Psychology of Love

Greetings beloveds,

We’ve talked a bit about how the physical structures of the brain and our thoughts.  Now let’s take a look at our psychology. Psychology is the study of the mind. Thus, understanding how we work as humans can only improve our ability to connect with our self and others. I have always been fascinated with human behavior and how we explain/understand the world. To my younger self experiencing all the many different personality types was the most appealing part of interacting with other. Then to think that you could spend enough time with people to begin to predict and control their behavior?!? It was all too much for my little brain to handle so I dove into old psychology texts devouring the different theoretical frameworks that predominate the psychological world. From clinical, social psych, child development, personality, bio-psych, statistics to so many other areas it seems like every thought and behavior that humans have had (and even some animals) has been studied. Love as a feeling, experience, and biological response has of course been one of the hot topics within psychology with it’s various specialty areas in Human Sexuality or Marriage and Family.

The Myers & Briggs Personality Test

The Enneagram

The True Colors Personality Test

Here are some of the most popular personality tests out there for you to explore if you haven’t already. These tests attempt to categorize people into types in order to assist you and the psychologist in figuring out quickly how you relate to others and yourself. Personality tests are a fun and sometimes useful way to see how compatible you and another person might be. Of course these tests are very generalized and rarely capture the entirety of the human soul/being so they are a starting point at best. But it is better to have a place to start then to not even be in the arena. When it comes to relationships in particular, The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman is one of my favorite go to’s for a simple explanation of understanding what one’s needs are and how to express this to your partner, family, friends, and colleagues. Check these various tests out and let me know what you think. Did you find yourself reading up on other personality types and love languages? Did you recognize these types in the people in your life?

Before we go let’s talk mental health. Taking time to focus on our mental health should be of the same importance as taking care of your physical health. You are mindful of your eating, movement, emotions and thoughts but when your feelings and thoughts are in conflict, do you feel comfortable seeking mental health services as you would with your diet or exercise? It would be wise to do so, as all of our being is connected. One area not functioning at it’s best will affect all the other areas as well.

Queen of Heaven and Earth

Greetings beloveds,

This has been a busy season hasn’t it? There’s a meme that says “Capricorns are so boring, I forgot it was even your season”. No offense, but it’s true. I distinctly can remember the energy of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, and Sagittarius season. Now, in Capricorn season it seems very active but in a different way. At the winter solstice we reach the 7th gate of the underworld. We lay down our physical form to embrace the spirit of death and change. We enter the 8th gate to explore our subconscious dreams. The things that we only dare to express in the quiet of our journals.

There’s the celebration with friends and family, the liminal space of the time outside of time between the holy-days and the honoring of our pasts in the Gregorian new year. Then it’s go time. We rise from the 8th gate and begin our ascension. What do you leave behind? What do you take with you? We clear out our homes, set goals, buy a gym memberships, and fill our fridges with fresh vegetables. Yet, when we look at the astrology of this time in 2019, it is ruled by the energy of Saturn. Of planning, organizations, structure, time.

Inanna, who has made it clear for me that this is her preferred time of year to be honored. At what other time are we so clearly connected to the earth and the heavens. When a powerful narrative of the birth of a King being foretold by the stars in the sky is so richly woven through Western culture. Another narrative exists though. One of a Queen. A Queen who was selfish, strong, self-assured, slightly narcissistic, determined, ambitious, kind, and giving. A Queen who knew what she wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after it even if that meant playing some tricks along the way. The kind of tricks that gained her the 7 ME’s, brought her life where only the dead were allowed to tread, and eventually lead to her transformation from Queen to Goddess.

When thinking of Inanna, I remember her feisty side. She was so active and alive. She made me want to be like her. Brave. Secure or perhaps foolish enough to defy all expectations to accomplish her goals. She didn’t wait for anyone to give her permission. She made a decision and acted. I think about her in relation to winter, the stillness that seeps into our lives. It seems so far removed from her stories, yet this is the time when she wants to be heard.

What wisdom does she have to share with us? To slow down instead of rushing into things. We don’t always know what lies beyond the next gate. We cannot be sure that our beloved will mourn for us when we leave. That even with all the power, beauty, and magic of the world we still experience loss. We still make mistakes and have to make amends for what we have done. Above all else we have to do better. When we rise from the depths of the underworld and are initiated into a new form it is a gift. One that no one else has had the honor to receive. We should treat this experience with respect and to assist others. At the very least to help ourselves.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo: Back to the Light

Greetings beloveds,

A full moon ruled by the element of fire with the Moon and North Node in Leo, Venus and Jupiter in Sagittarius, and then Mars and Uranus in Aries. With an even distribution between the fire signs we have each stage of creation – a spark of life, the strong flames of midlife, and the quiet warmth of dying embers. The moon in Leo in the 10th house shines light on the will and courage needed to face our purpose.

Take note from the different forms of the fire signs. Where do you fall in the fire spectrum of creation? Are you at the beginning stages, identifying and starting to move forward in your career? Perhaps you have started your career or are in your prime. Lastly, you may be a well-versed expert in your field with a solid background and vision of who you are. This isn’t a linear process. We often grow , change, and expand our understanding of our purpose and how that can or will affect our career.

Above all else, allow yourself to shine in your chosen role whatever that may be. The world would not be the same without you. Let your career or source of income be like the moon and reflect your inner light to others.

These might be hard words to hear but sometimes we feel that we have a calling but it’s difficult to manifest. We take the classes, get the job, find the mentor, write the book, create the program but it doesn’t go anywhere. We find ourselves suffering from imposter syndrome. We worry that we are not on the right path or encounter a lot of resistance along the way. We may feel so attached to what we THINK or FEEL we are supposed to be doing or who we are yet, we are unable to make progress in that area.

Take that step back. Look at how you approach these topics. Are you so attached to this career, purpose, or identity that it is difficult to keep perspective and make necessary changes to move forward. The power of Leo lies in their natural appeal to others. Find those who are in your field or have similar interests which can bolster and support you on this path. Then ground yourself through the foundation you have been working on since this the Cancer new moon last month.

Your home is a sacred space. Cleanse it, fill it with things that bring you peace, and then retreat there to rest and refuel. You’ve got this.

Enchanted: Full Moon in Cancer

It’s the most magical time of the year…well one of them at least. This full moon in Cancer coincides with the Winter Solstice. We have passed the 7th gate into the Underworld, leaving behind our connections to this material world to move deeper into the spiritual. A full moon in the darkest night illustrates the absorb nature of duality. There is never darkness without light or light without darkness. I was reminded of Genesis 1:1-3

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.”

There was never a time without darkness. The notion that we come from the light is a limited notion. Light comes from darkness. The energy of a cancer full moon brings us back to the waters of life that existed in the darkness. Think of all that is waiting for you in the shadows. More than you could ever imagine. We haven’t even explored most of the waters of this planet and are always finding new forms of life. New ways to love, exist and be. What exists in the dark waters of the primordial mother for you?

This new moon allow yourself to become Enchanted. To fall in love with the magic of the season. The way the light shines through the trees. The glisten on frost, ice,or snow in the morning light. The flicker of the firelight against the cold dark of the night. Everything holds a bit of magic within it if you’re willing to see it. There’s a magic practice that calls for you to “soften your gaze”,letting your eyes slowly lose focus so that the world is a little hazy. It removes the harsh filter of reality that binds us to this world. Move into the world of dreams an imagination of the 8th gate. This space that allows for anything to be possible. Unicorns, mermaids, fairies, elves, wands, and magic rings are the norm here. Need something? Say the words with the right materials and it is yours. If you’ve been following along I’ve been working my way through the underworld with some of the Goddesses of Life and Death. Checkout the Enchanted series to begin your exploration of this liminal space. It’s never too late to enter the land of Enchantment.

This full moon brings us healing and wisdom. When you entered the 7th Gate to the Underworld what did you release? What did you have to let go of? There is healing that can be found from finding your connection to these items, beliefs, experiences, roles, or relationships. There is something that holds you the reconnected to them and thus to your current state. If you want to change that through Shadow Alchemy, allow yourself to find the joy in not having them. The brilliance of letting Spirit carry the load for a moment. Does this make you feel anxious, scared, relieved? Sit with those feelings. Breath through them. Light some incense to your favorite guide, fix them a meal, and let yourself feel that release. In Enchantment we will explore the ways to utilize the art of beauty, glamour, visualization, breath work, and movement to perform Shadow Alchemy. The stronger the feeling the more powerful the reaction. Think of a chemical reaction, some are small and unnoticeable others can level a nation. Think of the change you can bring to your life with that kind of energy.

As you sit and take this energy in what messages have you received? Watch your dream sand look for other reoccurring signs in your life such as numbers (3, 6, 8), animals,or themes in your conversations will all be clues to what areas you need to work on or will assist you in your work. Oh and if you need some support Isis is the perfect Goddess to work with.

Happy Full Moon and Winter Solstice loves,

Kamilah Rose

December Astrology Part 1: Right Side Up

Greetings,

December 1- Mercury Retrograde enters Scorpio:

We all know the retrograde spiel by now, especially with Mercury. Lags in communication, understanding, traffic issues, travel issues, blocks to your creativity, not being able to make progress on projects. All of these are elements associated with the planet Mercury and when any planet is in retrograde we see that energy slow down or become resistant. Mercury retrograde in Scorpio may find us diving deeply into metaphysical, philosophical, or areas that we just want to know more about. Yet, we may not find satisfying answers or information. Perhaps that book that has exactly what you are looking for is checked out of the library or the web page won’t load. You may also find that you are in a continuous dive. You become obsessed with a topic or issue to the point where you forget to accomplish or ignore other responsibilities. The key to this time is to HAVE FUN WITH IT. Don’t take anything too seriously. If you come across resistance just let it go. Mercury is only in retrograde for a couple of more days. You can do it!

December 2 – Venus enters Scorpio:

As Christina Aguilera said “wanna get dirty, it’s about time for my arrival”, Venus has officially entered Scorpio. Deep connections, secrets told between the sheets, kinks, and spiritual healing are all a part of Venus in Scorpio energy. This is the seductress or charmer. They pull you in through their mystery. Something that just makes you want to know more…about yourself, about the world, about each other. Coupled with Mercury in Retrograde you may find yourself obsessing over a project, passion, goal, or person. Thinking of them constantly or wanting to be near them often. Healthy ways to express this are through art, exercise, and other forms of creative expression. Because you do not want to test the Scorpion so best to give that energy space to be free in yourself and others.

Once Mercury goes direct on the 6th this is a great time to engage in magic practices that engage your senses. Eat decadent flavorful foods. Wear or touch fabrics that give you physical reactions. Use scents that create the feelings that you would like to manifest. Watch or visit beautiful movies and places. Listen to music or have conversations that gets your blood pumping. These elements can also help you to soothe and heal you if during this time you encounter painful emotions, memories, or information.

December 6th – Mercury goes Direct

FINALLY! We will be in the shadow of Mercury retrograde for a bit longer but things will start to flow again. Take advantage of the information gathering and start making those plans!

Check out the rest of this month’s astrology in my upcoming posts.

October Astrology: Scorpio Season

autumn moments (2)October 9 Mercury enters Scorpio

Friends don’t keep secrets but Scorpios do. Communication in the sign of Scorpio functions on a needs to know basis. Although you may pour your heart out to Scorpion,  you’ll only realize that you learned nothing about them days or weeks later. Mercury in Scorpio pulls us towards deep conversations about our hopes and fears. About the things that keep us up at night. Clawing at our souls to be seen. We turn inward from the scales of speaking our truth towards wisdom, fear or denial. How do you hold truth? Do you shy away from what is burying your head in the sand or use your oxygen mask to explore the depths of humanity.

October 23 Sun enters Scorpio

We balanced our scales and now to give us the strength to face our darkness Scorpio comes forth to deliver the medicine of painful healing. Scorpios are ruled by the planet Pluto, signifying their dark mysterious personalities. I mean let’s be honest Pluto was the last planet to be discovered it was that far outside of our reality. Then, Pluto lost its planet status signifying just how little we really understand Scorpio’s and who they are. One minute you think you have them figured out and the next you’re not even sure if they are human because no one should be that hard to define. You may not feel that you can define a Scorpio but best believe there’s a really easy way to recognize them. Scorpio’s didn’t do all that deep sea psychological diving for nothing. They know who they are, their values, and what they desire. They are the person at the party who isn’t loud, doesn’t have to be the center of attention and yet when they saunter by your table every eye turns in their direction. Scorpio’s knowledge of self and others is magnetic. It is highly desirable because they are the most stable water sign and their emotional states are together.

Scorpio’s connection to the underworld means they are permanently connected to the spiritual realm. Giving them access to what is occurring beneath the surface of our actions, thoughts, and beliefs. When Scorpio’s take this knowing combined with their inherent value of human worth and rise from the underworld they soar as the Eagle.Scorpio’s in their Eagle form take their place beside the Libra warriors of Justice and the Sagittarian Phoenix to defend those who are may not have the strength to defend themselves. They are the swift retribution brought down on those who harm others. Their keen eyesight let’s the see divine truth while their talons can both snatch those in need out of harms way while decimating the perpetrators. The Eagle is just one option. If Scorpio becomes to focused on self, wallowing in a state of mistrust and suspicion, then they may become the grey lizard. Never leaving the ground, never using their skills to assist themselves or each other. The grey lizard lacks perspective and passion, preferring to stay close to the ground where they feel safe. Scorpio’s can be whatever they wish. They are the darkness before creation. They are the space that exists before all new things come into being. They must make the choice of fear versus flight.

October 31 Mercury enters Sagittarius and Venus Retrograde enters Libra.

There is much happening today. Mercury enters into Sagittarius and Venus retrograde moves into Libra. We feel moved to share more, embrace transparency and have more fun. After the heavy cleansing of the past month, we are ready for this break. Yet, depending on where you are in your journey you may embody any of the faces of Kali. May you act though as the destroyer of ignorance and fear. Perhaps you have found that the scales were just too much for you this past few weeks. As others have risen speaking without thought of their words impact, transmute that energy into power for your work and purpose. Sagittarius is an energy of knowledge and exploration. You cannot learn sometimes unless you are willing to step out from your comfort zone. So take a step of faith with the belief that you will learn what you need and be able to serve as you desire.

As Venus retrogrades back into Libra, I caution you to approach this time with great respect. Libra has expressed herself recently as the energy of Oya and Oya is not here to play. If you are not familiar with Oya I suggest that you just give your respects to this energy and not give offerings. Oya made it very clear that she brings us through gates into the underworld of the colder months of the year. Her message is to let what is passed die. Focus on what builds you up over what brings you down. This is a time of prosperity and abundance but only if you are open to receiving it. The scales have been laced before you. What have you hidden from the world afraid to even acknowledge? Place them on the scales along with your heart. Which is heavier? Which guides you? The influence of others and their expectations or your essence from within? It’s choice. Choose wisely.

Love always,

Kamilah Rose

October Astrology: October and Venus Retrograde

October Astrology_ Venus retrograde

I’ve been quiet. Super quiet. Taking pics and posting on Instagram with one word descriptions. Meeting up with folks in person and just connecting. Why? Because way back in spring, it became very clear that this year was going to be a rough emotional year. It’s an 11/2 year which is grounded in the feminine but there’s so much transition happening that it feels like ripping a band-aid off over and over again for a wound that never heals.

It’s fall now in the northern hemisphere which means we have entered into the underworld of the feminine. The masculine is making it’s way back out to do it’s part of holding down the fort while the feminine does its work. Libra season balances out the scales by bringing the darkness to light. 2017 we saw #metoo, 2018 it’s the Kavanaugh trial. We still categorize Libra as the superficial fun loving indecisive Kim Kardashian’s of the zodiac. We limit the power of this energy. When you dive deeply into Libra you find the sword of truth yielded by a conscious beauty which forgets NOTHING. Moving forward? Great no problem. Letting go, that swords not here to just look pretty. Embrace the change even if it hurts. When we rise in the spring you’ll be grateful for release.

October 5 Venus Retrograde

Oh Venus, planet of love, justice, jealously, passion, relationships, contracts and retribution. In a season of embracing the darkness this is the best time to evaluate our relationships right? Now, yes this means our ex’s could be popping up in the DM’s but honestly this can happen at any time. Here’s my suggestion for you during Venus retrograde.

  1. Find your Venus sign: Everyone has a different relationship to this planet. Take the time to explore how you relate to Venus. Are you a Venus in Aries or Sagittarius? Each other these have vastly different ways of expressing romance, friendships,
  2. Find the house of your Venus: Again, the house that your Venus is located in will effect how you relate to others.
  3. Take note of how you personally understand relationships. What are your boundaries, values, ethics, and fears towards each other following categories? This will help to show what work you have to do or what lessons you may encounter during this retrograde.
    1. Self
    2. Friendships
    3. Work/Career
    4. Romantic
    5. Nature

Release Your Wishes Ritual

  • Cleanse and clear your energy
  • Call upon your ancestors and patrons for guidance and protection
  • Set your sacred space in your preferred way
  • Take 9 strips of paper and write one of your fears related to relationships on each piece. Bury these in near by forest or flush down the toilet.
  • Take 9 Pennies and make a wish on each one. Visit your local cemetery or family cemetery and leave your pennies there.
  • End your ritual with some chocolate and your favorite wine/grape juice.

Are you ready?

Full Moon in Pisces:

Full Moon in Leo Pisces

Greetings beloveds,

In a season where we are called to ground, discover our truth, and evaluate where we are in order to get where we want to be we find ourselves pulled deep within. It is the call of the deep, the peace and mystery of waters that are not moved by petty surface level disturbances. This is the work of the High Priestess who carries the energy of the Goddess during the great ritual. She may cleanse for a full season, meditate for days, set herself apart. As she wishes to reconnect with the love of the divine she finds herself sacrificed and reborn as creatures of great wisdom, magic, and glory.

This full moon there is great personal development ritual work to be done. If you have been waiting for the chance to work your magic that has been flowing through your veins since the Aquarius full moon, this is the moment. Turn the power that you send to others and the world around you inward. Return to your true self; a being of true power. It is your choice what you choose to do with this knowledge.

There are several rituals that you can do at this time. Here is one using mirror work.

  MIRROR WORK RITUAL

  •        Reflect upon the work that you have been doing. If you are aware of your purpose or of what you would like to manifest with your power write this down in a one sentence I am statement.
  • Take a shower or bath to clear your energy.
  • Then, in a quiet space, lower the lights and light a candle (use a color that corresponds with the purpose of your ritual).
  • Spend at least 5 minutes in meditation, calming your mind, deepening your breath, and center your attention on the purpose of your ritual.
  • Then, using a mirror or obsidian looking glass with a soft gaze look at your reflection.
  • Notice your facial features. Your eyes, nose, mouth, chin, ears, and hair.
  •  Does anything immediately catch your attention?
  • Do you find yourself having difficulty focusing on your reflection? Try to look directly into your eyes. What do you see? What do you feel?
  • Now say, “this is a physical manifestation of my soul. Through this form I can interact with the world around me. Through this form I can impact my world. With these eyes I see the truth and can find the path. With this mouth I speak into existence my purpose. I am…(insert your I am statement and repeat it 3X)”. Now close with your preferred casting phrase (Ase Amen Ra Ma’at, and so it is, as I will so mote it be, etc)

Enjoy!
