Cleansing the Home: Creating Space for Love

tumblr_nc7gtx9eBm1tk6ch2o1_1280.jpg (714×474)

Greetings beloveds,

I hope you all are having a wonderful day. Spring is coming and I suspect everyone is beginning to feel the need to start clearing up energy in and around your home. This may sound like a story that an adult would try to tell you to get you to tidy up but cleaning is a spiritual act. It is a physical act which literally moves energy. The act of cleaning and redecorating can allow for old energy to be released and new energy to be brought in. We focus a bit of time and energy on clearing our physical and etheric energy attached to our bodies and souls. It is important to take time to focus on clearing the physical space that you inhabit as well.

If you find that you are feeling a bit stagnant, have a large goal you would like to achieve or are wanting to add a little oomph to your manifestations decluttering and cleaning can assist you in all these efforts. As we have discussed, energy is always being transmuted and transformed. When you have a desire that you would like to see come to fruition this requires energy that is currently being put to use in one area to be to be transmuted to another. For example, you may want to change where you are currently living but find it difficult to find a space that meets your needs, desires, or budget. It’s a great idea then to examine what the energy is like in your current location. Do you have a lot of items that you rarely use? Are your belongings ready to be moved or would changing spaces be a cumbersome stressful event? Is the space you are in clean and ready to be vacated? These factors all contribute to the flow of energy in your home and manifesting your goal. So what needs to be done to start the energy flowing towards moving? First, you may want to go over your belongings and see what you may be holding onto in that space which may energetically tying you to that location. Remove those that are not supporting your endeavor. Now it’s time to look at whether your space is ready to be vacated so start cleaning up. Begin behaving as if your manifestation has already occurred. This is the magic of clearing our space. It creates room for new things, energy, dreams to come forth.

This same theory applies in the same way to our relationship to our self, others and the heart centered connection we have with everything. Supporting healthy, nurturing and love inducing connections not only performs the task of maintaining our relationships but either transforming or releasing those that do not serve us. Thus if you feel you are wanting more love either to give to yourself, others, or to receive it may be time to re-evaluate the state of the energy within your home or living space to see if it is putting out the message that you would like to deliver. If not then it’s time to start cleaning up and clearing out so that you create space for what you would like to have in your life.

I hope that you will stop by tomorrow where we’ll be sharing a fun decluttering and energy clearing activity. Have a beautiful day loves!

28 Days of Love- The Root Energy Center

warrior-root-vibration.jpg (640×640)

Greetings beloveds,

We have been getting into the nitty gritty here at The Bliss Institute examining the many ways that we can show ourselves and each other love through our physical forms. Now we are going to take a look at the energy centers related to our physical being starting with the root.

The root chakra or energy center is our grounding foundation of our being. It is the first energy center located at the base of our forms at the base of our spine. Others have noted the root chakra’s location at the perineum. Neither of these may not be the space where you feel energy moving though so it will be useful to get to know your own energetic form. Thought of as the start of a vortex of spiraling energy, the root energy center is connected with the coccyx or the tailbone. Often associated with the color red, the root chakra is our connection to the earth that nourishes and feeds us. Just as the earth represents our physical home, the root chakra is activated by any type of physical activity that we participate in. Anything that gets our body moving get our root energy center going as well.

Our root chakra houses our basis of stability, security, safety, and survival. If we were to liken this to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs this would be a combination of the physiological and safety levels. We find that our primitive instincts towards ensuring our survival are activated with this chakra. Thus housing or shelter, food and protection are the main concern here. When these areas are not in balance or flowing in harmony with our overall energy then we feel that our lives are at risk. This can mean physically, energetically, emotionally, or mentally there is an attack we are perceiving externally or internally. This activates reactions to these threats through a variety of emotional and physical states. Anger, judgment, inactivity, over activity, scarcity mentality and experiencing a lack of connection to the world around us are all associated with a root chakra that is either over or under active.

When our root energy center is balanced we feel as if our environment is safe and secure. We view the universe as a place of abundance where we are always taken care of. I’m sure these are some appealing characteristics but one of the best ways to determine the state of one’s root is your manifestation of your dreams and desires. On a base level we are always manifesting according to what energy we put out there. If you find that it’s very easy for you to manifest your desires then more than likely your root chakra is well balanced and in tune with your overall energy. As your foundation and direct connection to the Earth as the material realm there can be a correlation between the state of your root chakra and your material manifestations. This is never the whole story so don’t discount the overall energy of the world around you but the way you feel about your ability to affect your physical self/world. Your drive for creating micro and macro change is within the root energy center. As you can tell this is a major energy point. The root doesn’t act alone and tomorrow we will cover another energy center that is closely tied to our physical being/form: the sacral chakra.

New Moon in Aquarius

Hello Gorgeous!

We are back with the new moon in Aquarius. How did that total lunar eclipse treat you? If you found yourself feeling a bit all over the place have no fear Aquarius is here!

February 3rd, the day before the new moon, we have Venus entering Capricorn which highlights what the message of this new moon is all about- finding peace in solitude. Capricorn in Venus creates a space where we express our feelings through acts, material items. and setting up long term arrangements. The perfect time for Valentines right? This isn’t the sentiment of Cancer, it’s the stability of the Earth. Even when the Earth takes, she births more for us without us even realizing it. We just have to know where to look.

We take this energy and then move into a new moon in Aquarius. Look at the long term narrative. We are coming out of a new moon in Capricorn, full moon in Leo, New Moon in Aquarius, followed by a full moon in Virgo before we enter into the end of the astrological year. This is the end. It’s the time to take all the cleansing, clearing, releasing and let it go into the waters of Pisces. Those depths are universal and that energy is constantly renewing.

How does Aquarius clear the air? Through systematic processes of elimination before a genius bit of innovation. There’s a reason Aquarius is related to Capricorn. Cause after you make all the lists, only keep things that bring you joy, reviewed and aligned your goals for the next 3, 6, and 12 months, you gotta let go a bit. Lighten up. Not all the work is physical or material, the mind plays such an important role in this process. We are about to enter into the season of dreaming and to get there we take a trip through the conscious, the cognitive, the mind of a genius.

So what’s your genius? Is it in the arts, writing, sports, comedy, nurturing, providing, beautifying, loving, being, creating, doing, feeling, listening , etc, etc, etc. There’s so many different ways that our genius expresses its self. Let it happen! Think of it like the mental preparation needed before a psychedelic trip. That’s where we are now before we jump down the rabbit hole of Pisces and are re-birthed through Aries.

Check out this link to find your genius.

New Moon in Capricorn: The Value of Your Talents

Greetings beloveds!

This new moon is ruled by Earth energy. Not only is this moon in Capricorn but it is joined by Pluto, the Sun, and Saturn in the 6th house then Mercury in the 5th house. 6th house energy calls our attention to discernment, knowledge, talents, and learned skills. This placement of planets suggests that now is a wonderful time to access our current skills:

Your close friends or social circle may be able to help you identify these skills or have ideas on where you can build or use these skills.

Concentrate on ways to bring comfort to others and yourself. Things that provide safety, nurturing, and a space where folks feel that they can be their true selves.

If you find that you have a difficult time with this process this indicates shadow work surrounding root, sacral, solar plexus, and heart chakra characteristics. An exploration of how to integrate and acknowledge these truths can be obtained through reflection upon the reasons why you would not be interested in using your talents to assist others. Are there fears around this surrounding you not being worthy or good enough to help others? An idea that others are not deserving of this assistance? Or perhaps you have tried this before and was unsuccessful. A fear of humiliation, failure, judgement, and shame cloud your drive to follow your purpose. Through shadow work you can acknowledge the drive behind these barriers and find ways to use them to your benefit.

This reflection and shadow work are grounded in mindfulness, meditation, and ritual. Being willing to sit with your dreams, fears, and ask for divine assistance takes a level of trust and acceptance that Capricorn energy is uniquely built to support. Capricorn is represented by the goat-fish. A being that is grounded in earthly energy of hard work and perseverance while also being able to navigate the depths of our emotions and subconscious. This is the energy of devotion which comes from communion with Spirit and building a relationship of trust.

The Enchanted Hearth: Using Your Space to Manifest Your Goals

Space and Goals

Greetings beloveds,

I have been reviewing my goals and what I want. It is valuable to do this often as it ensures that you remain on a path that is taking you towards what you desire. It is not about being overly particular or analytical it is about staying aware. Learning how to go with the flow. This summer we have reviewed many ways to align with the element of water which rules this season. Now, we will look at how to utilize the energy of our space to assist us in manifesting our goals.

First, become aware of your space. You can find the energy of the spaces of your home by laying the Lo Shu Square across your living space and seeing what areas fall into which categories. For me, I will include the entire northern portion of my home which holds the knowledge, career and business, and helpful people energetic centers. I will also want to pay attention to the southern left and center portion of your home as that is where the abundance and fame portions are. The Southern left corner of abundance and wealth must always be well taken care o

  1. Keep these spaces clear of clutter, dirt, or discarded items. It will clog up the movement of energy for you.

The north center portion of your home is the obvious portion to work on if you are wanting to improve your business and career. Place plants there that will thrive. Use gold and green to decorate that space along with any other color that is associated with the career that you are in. For me, I am looking to increase my reach, my revenue, and clarify my products. I am going to saturate this area of my home which is my front door with rose gold, gold, and white for attraction. The knowledge portion of your home will assist you with learning any of the skills or talents necessary to achieve your goals. Place books, maps, or anything that is associated with what you need to learn about in that section to feed the energy of improvement. Lastly the helpful people section of your home is all about networking and connections which will assist you in manifesting your desires. Often, we think that we have to do it all. That we are the only ones who can make a way for ourselves. That is just not true. There is a role that you must play in all of this but there will always be others who can help carry the load or open doors. You are never in this alone.

Second, use pictures of exactly what you want to manifest into that space. You can create a vision board or any images that you have which are aligned with your goals. I have 3 vision boards that are complete with a 4th that I am still working on. I have found that the clarity that I have on what I desire determines the ability to create a board that reflects the energy of bringing me into alignment with my goals. I will review these during my birthday as I already know some revisions that need to be made. Always keep up with what you are putting out there that you desire.

Third, set an intention in your space. Ask for what you are desiring. Put it out there. We can be so afraid to ask for our dreams because we do not want them to not come true or to feel that we have failed. It’s Leo season!! Be brave beloveds and stretch yourself.

Finally, maintain your space. Keep this space clean, the symbols up to date, and renew your intention over time. Do this periodically perhaps with the cycle of the moon reviewing and cleansing this space every full and new moon.

Let me know how using your space to manifest your goals works for you!
